Steelers @ Rams game thread

Another game that you have no clue what to expect. The Rams are a better than average team have two really good WRs a good QB and future HOFer Donald on defense. They are missing their starting RBs and it seems like there’s a glimmer of hope that we can win this game without using defibrillators. So we’ll see what happens tomorrow.

 

Not so sure about the difibulator, won’t have one of those games until we can see the offense move the ball during the first 3 quarters and actually score touchdowns on those drives. Hopefully they actually corrected some things during the bye and we’ll see a better team. Seeing is believing!!!

 

I said glimmer of hope, not a Joe Namath guarantee. You act like I said 5 TDs in 5 drives.

 

I would settle for 3 TD’s in a game for the offense, we haven’t had that yet this year. The Steelers are going to have close games until the offense can keep possession and score at the end of those. Offense can’t stay on the field until late in the game.

Morning games not looking favorable for the Steelers. Ravens blowing out the Lions, Garret leading the Browns to a lead.

 

We just need to take care of our own business and let the chips fall where they may.

honestly if the Steelers had a semi-competent OC, I’d have a lot more faith in the team. For now, have to hope Watt, Highsmith or Minkah can get into the end zone again

 

Just heard Watson went into and cleared concussion protocol but PJ Walker still at QB. Thoughts?

Currently stuck with the red zone tv, so only catching some of the games. Based on the little I saw looked like Minshew was out playing him. Browns defense (and ST) is winning that game. Looks a lot like the Steelers quite honestly, just more points scored lol

 

What can you do with Watson? 46 million guaranteed for the next three seasons. And he sucks. That’s some seriously wasted cap space. Baker Mayfield would be nice to have now.

Don’t think there is a good answer. Think they’re stuck with Watson. Not sure they could work around the dead money even if he’s designated a post June 1 cut. Honestly though if Chubb comes back, Ford has been pretty solid. They have a top 5 defense. He doesn’t need to be great, just solid for the Browns to be a playoff team

 

The best thing that could possibly happen would be he gets into trouble that lets the Browns void his contract.

 

Bad start for the offense again!! At least our defense eventually settled down and stopped their offense. Thanks to a nice hold from the all pro Dotson!!!
