Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

That's really how I look at the WR position. I'm a production guy. Give me the guys who have caught 200+ balls in college but don't always fit the height / weight mold teams look for. They fall to the 3rd round or later but they come into the NFL having been there and done that.

Bryant is the opposite. Has all the measurables but just hasn't produced. 80 career catches glows boats. But it's the 4th round and the Steelers have a very good WR coach in Mann. If anyone can get in his head and get him working it's him.

 

I hope the Steelers trade back up in the 4th.

I dont hate the Bryant pick he could end up very good and all they spent was a 4th on him,
he just wasnt the player or position I was hoping for.

 

If you want to grade the draft, best way to do it is to go to NFL.com draft tracker, they give each player a grade and you could see who reached and who was in range.

The way things are going, it doesn't look like the Steelers are going top Corner this draft.......

 

Use the rest of the picks they can trade and get back in the 4th for #65

 

My biggest concern for Bryant is that he is potentially another Mike Wallace. I see a lot of parallels present.

 

Yeah but he's no Phil Taylor. Okay I like his upside, he is rangy and active and finds the ball.

 

Huff is a great pick for the Titans.

 

Norwood to the Seahawks. Finally a great pick for them.

 

Norwood is a good fit in Seattle.

111 gone, he was burghball's guy or sleeper. Why are they lamenting over QB, NFL hs some smarter people than us draft quote unquote experts. AJ McCarron and Mettenberger suck as NLF prospects, just deal with it, nothing else is relavent of where they were or what they did up to now.

 

De'Anthony Thomas is a reach. The Chiefs aren't having a good draft.

 

At least the 2015 QB class will have some talent, 2013 and 2014 were average classes and I keep busting the balls of these guys, but I wish they were picked right before the Steelers to push propects back.

Back to Martavis Bryant, how many catches is supposed to have when Boyd is running for his life and keying in on Sammy Watkins.
