Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

THe big board, is not existant. We changed forums, I think it was the right move, but it set us back. At this point if we threw something together, it would be half-assed, I am not about painting without sanding and priming.

nfldraftscout - (that horrible site), and scout.com, on Fox are reliable, but we can certainly adjust our thought process. I am with bb, Brian Schweinkie is the best OC in the draft, period. Players with character or size concerns can be on the board, but they have to drop, regardless of talent. I know Ironman really likes Duke Williams, the problem is the guy steals things, red flag. Similar to the Georgia kids, Ogletree and Rambo. Patterson, his football IQ is low, his explosion in the open field is awesome, but he lacks lateral quickness and he rounds off his routes. Keenan Allen is a stud, when healthy, I'll pass on a guy who always seems to be dinged up, see Limas Sweed. Potential don't mean sh.it,

I am now fully sold, all in 100%, on a handfull of players that I will bang the table for.

Kasheem Green, Arthur Brown, JJ Wilcox, Robert Woods, Steadman Bailey, Brian Schwenke, Earl Wolff, Travis Kelce, Jamarr Taylor,

Players I would rate higher than some of the boards out there, I just think they are potential Steelers.

Jonathon Cooper, Kenny Vaccaro, Jonathon Cyprien, Jonathon Franklin, Jamie Collins, Jon Bostic, Vince Williams, Mike Gillislee, Brandon Williams.

Kiko ALonso, AJ Klein, Darius Slay, Terry Hawthorne, Robert ALford, Sio Moore, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, John Simon. Zac Dysert, Corey Lemonier, David Bass, Cornelius Washington, Devin Taylor, Gavin Escobar, Michael Williams, Vance McDonald, Josh Boyce, Le'Veon Bell, Stepfon Taylor, Devonte Holloman.

Interesting read, I agree with the article, I think Watson and Armstead are going to be studs when they get coached up by an NFL team and whoever gets them are going to be happy for years.

Armstead playing with a broken clavicle tells me he has a high pain threshold, and is a gamer.

 

Just a heads up you will get your last pick in tonight, although it may be late. Also don't forget you get one UDFA pick at the end, first come first serve at 6PM Thursday and not a second sooner.

take a lot at the TE from New Mexico.... interesting kid - Last name will ring a bell and I still think he can fill out his frame....


Also- the OG from JMU.... another kid I think can play at the NFL level - bad we have drafted OG and now would be set...

and you can always double up on WR or S or look for a CB ... How about the WR from Mount Union? Is he still on the board? ILB from Howard? the 2 WR from VA Tech - both nice size.... There is the DT from Bowling Green I liked also... but more of a undrafted player - and QB from Duke...

I of course am not surprised entirely that you liked him too of course, something about an apple and a tree comes to mind. not that im implying you are vadar and im luke, what would that make BB? Palpatene?

Jonathon Cooper,, Jonathon Cyprien- those two are studs that i would throw in to your table mashing section, especially the latter. and that kid out of fresno looks REAL GOOD. think a better version of that kid, barry church i think his name was.

And the edit feature is...dare i say...a god send. I was about to double post earlier when i realised i could just edit my post and my mind was blown....

He's Brooks Reed's brother - 6'6" 250"... faster than Williams and has room on his frame to grow.. we'll see..
