We now pick 10th, 11th, or 12th depending on what happens tonight and tomorrow. Full draft order will come on Tuesday.

We're lookin like 6-10 at best.. getting us with a top ten pick... too bad we still dont have the 3rd round pick from this year also... we could use it...

    enjoy,

Yeah NOT the year to be giving low picks away like Trik or Treat candy The defense is getting trnovers but still getting gashed . You need someone next to Timmons who is explosive. sanders and brown are on the cusp of great, but sesasonn on the line, you don;t DROP passes. *WALL*

on that MIzzou game,, Sams is pretty impressive. Conner shaw is a good college QB, he'll fail in the pros. The way the Steelers OL cannot stay healthy I wouldn't count out Kuandjio nor Lewan. as Colbert's target.

Brett Hundley looks like BPA where we fall. How likely is it that we pull the trigger in that scenario?

Agree on Sams.... was going to check his size.. as a DE.. and see if he fits the OLB in a 3-4...

    enjoy,

yeah he fits the OLB size chart, 6-2 255, also does not hurt his stock he plays in the SEC.

HEre is something to look at for top 100. Walter football ain't bad, but it's a team of two. Forget Draftek, they are whack on crack. Not sure on CBS, they are up and down and over-rate the CB's too often, and they waffle a lot.

Scout.com top 100 for the 2014 NFL Draft, including underclassmen.

    http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=12&nid=83&lnid=124&yr=2014

what stands out to me as far is this.

Over-rated: Lee, Manziel, Ekpre-Olumo, Thomas, Roby, MIller, Dennard
Under-rated: Mack, Van Noy, Quarles, Jones.
    Blantant omission: Micheal Sam
Things I like: Tuitt ahead of Nix,
Things I would swap: Barr and Clowney. Sorry Clowney's motor idles too much. I actually think Barr with his motor and skill set is a better fit for a 3-4 team like Pittsburgh. and for that matter Van Noy is a better fit. To me Clowney is a 4-3 DE nothing else, don't think he can play the 5.

This is probably way off base.. but.. I associate the word "bust" with Clowney for some reason.... will be interesting to see how he works out in the NFL....

  10. Let it be known I was the one that started the Michael Sam bandwagon *THUMBSUP*
I remember against Florida he basically lined up in the backfield he beat his guy so much.

  11. Clowney was nothing special. He had a swatted ball but that is it. I noticed a few things I've never seen on the camera with him and that is he showed a ton of frustration between plays, which makes me think if you can beat him a few times you get into his head and it affects his game. That and a lot of hands on his knees during commercial breaks or on the sidelines.

Still, you talk about a complete heartbreaker. When Baggett missed that kick the entire stadium just went silent and it completely took all the air out of the homecoming weekend. But the worst part is how people reacted to it. Baggett was completely harassed on Twitter and got a few death threats. Pretty pathetic really.

As the season continues to tank I'm thinking LT or trading back. *YES*

  14. Depends for me. If the top tackles are off the board but all the receivers are I strongly consider one of them. Unless they can land Matthews in the 2nd.

  15. nybites M.V.P. Steelers UCONN

JMFO but Matthews is a top 5 lock. Clowney not so sure, Barr top 7.

  16. My bad, I meant Jordan Matthews in the 2nd. Jake is a top 5 lock indeed.

Watching a future NFL back on Boston College, Andre Williams, dude is a load and runs through tackles. Logan Thomas for VT will be drafted and not be the cat's ass at the next level, JFMO.

It's burghball's type of offense on BC, 6 Offensive Lineman, 2 TE's, QB, RB, FB.

  18. Wow, Logan Thomas blows.

but not nearly as bad as Dari and Mel on the radio. Also known as the Neal & Bob Hour.

I think Hundley and Mariotta come out,, Why, because there are enough sh1t teams in need of a QB and don't count Houston out of this discussion either. Is Freeman the answer in Minnesota, um probably not.. Are the Bears going to fork over more forking money to an injury prone Jayne Cuntler,, maybe not. With the new rookie structured contracts,, teams can lock up good players for a lot less money.

I am also curious to see if 2013 is replicated in 2014 as far as OL in the first round. Lots of talent there, and there isn't one team I can name that doesn't need an upgrade at one of the starters currently on their roster. As beachbumn has pointed out,, very few teams have OT depth with starting potential.

The thing about Jake Matthews to Pittsburgh is that a few teams, the Giants for one, also need LT help. Even though NY just signed Will Beatty to a lucrative deal, they could always slide him back over to the right side. I am in the majority of fans that thinks MIke Adams is your RT.With him next to DeCastro they were mauling people in the run game last year. What many fans forget is that stabbing on the South Side may still be affecting him either physically or mentally. And really DeCastro is closer to a rookie than a second year RG.

I am NOT rooting for NE tomorrow, even if it gives the Steelers the 3rd pick in the draft. As a fan, and a certified draft nut,, I really hate losing now to win later. Losing is a disease,, the same way that winning is contageuous. I am not turning in my terrible towel just yet.

Pittsburgh's third rounder they traded away, looking at some mocks, two players this team could have really used, would probably be there when Lombardi picks instead of colbert. Da'Quan Jones,, and Deion Bailey DL and S help.

I find it odd that Michael Sam is not rated higher. Slowly but surely these rush DE/OLB players fly up the boards in April. Think the past few drafts with Mingo, Jordan Irvin, etc.., Walterfootball at least has VanNoy going in round one, I saw that a mile away,, perfect fit for 5-7 teams drafting in the 20's.

Where I am scratching my head is how top heavy the mocks are with CB and void of S. I still think the kid out of Washington State, Deone Buchannon, is a fit for Pittsburgh. This kid is better than Clinton-Dix and I hope the scouts for Pittsburgh get it right. When you scout Alabama, don't forget it's a semi-pro team, and a lot of the success each player has is because he is surrounded by top tier talent . Right now he isn rated 70th best overall, right about where the Browns will be picking for us. *WASSUP*
