Steelers Draft and Mel Kiper sucks thread!!

You guys can take Watkins, I want a guy that can put these ^^^^^^numbers up! and that would be Evans.

 

I think he's right up there with Watkins and Lee. He has a ridiculous YPC.

 

I love the dude, I think Watkins is in the mold of Wheaton and Brown, we need diversity and Evans is perfect, great against the press, and uses his body to shed defenders well also, has great hands too.

 

Another guy I'm going to bang the table for right now, is FSU QB Jameis Winston. He's going to be a real good one.

 

Another guy we need to keep an eye on for the next couple years is the true freshman WR from Tennessee - North.

 

I also like Jack Nicklaus' grandson TE/HB Nick O'Leary in the late rounds might even go undrafted, that's if he comes out, a junior this year.

 

Winston still has another two years in college after that but by that time he could be Ben's successor if they can get a high enough pick to draft him.

 

Did anybody see Jeremy Gallon's day yesterday. 14-369-2. I have watched a lot of Michigan ball and ever since the kid arrived, he does a great job at getting YAC.

All-in-all on the season , Gallon's stat line is 45-831-7.

Oh and ny, a guy for you to check out should be Devin Funchess. Reminds me of a Jimmy Graham type TE.

 

I saw Gallon's highlights but was immediately turned away when I heard the name of the guy who held the record......

 

These are all good, but keep in mind that we can't want every guy who has a monstrous game in college. No one ever puts those numbers up in the NFL.

Anybody who has watched him play will agree with you Burghball. He's good in pass coverage, gets to the QB, and plays the run very well. Great instincts! He's the real deal!

 

I like Evans and Watkins, but I'm starting to think Jordan Matthews would be a better value in round 2. Excellent route runner and excellent hands. Looks like a great possession receiver with size.

 

Another guy I've been watching is Kyle Fuller from VT. I doubt he'd be there in the 3rd but could be a good option in the 2nd

Pittsburgh doesn't get a 3rd round pick. Traded to CLE for Shamarko Thomas. Yeah okay a comp pick for Wallace but it will be at the end of the 3rd round. We may get a 4/5th for Keenan Lewis BTW.

Mock thoughts:

texans: RB, LB Cushing and Foster cannot remain healthy. They just cut Cierre Wood & Sam Montgomery.
Bears : LB, QB. Jayne Cuntler hurt again, (his contract is up in 2014) Urlacher gone, Brighs winding down. In there spot Khalil Mack or they move up for Mariotta or Hundley
Cleveland: QB, QB, QB 'nuff said
Packers: WR, OT
Redskins: Ryan Shazier they need a playmaker on D

I know, I was still taking that into account while considering Matthews in the 2nd. It would probably be better to start saying end of the 3rd though to avoid confusion.

 

What do you guys think about the OT Richardson from Tennessee? You see him going in the first or early 2nd. I liked his footwork from what I saw Saturday, but I did see that he got caught leaning a couple times.

 

Brandon Coleman? why is this WR getting so much hype, for a guy his size he should be putting up Mike Evans numbers, he has never went over 1000 yards, against meager competition only has like 1 reception, and the 2 douches over at seeBS and walter have him going in the 1st/2nd round, what gives?
