What's with these Hokie QBs gaining notoriety? Tyrod Taylor had the same thing going on for him. Look where he is now.

I don't like anyone on Georgia Tech's roster. Their best player is Jeremiah Attaochu, a 3-4 OLB prospect who's really light and can be easily pushed around. Virginia Tech at least has James Gayle, another 3-4 OLB prospect who's better than Attaochu. I'm interested in seeing Iowa State ILB Jeremiah George as he's pretty small and right now a late-rounder at best, but he has potential. I'm not really paying any close attention to Tulsa right now.

I'd just watch VT vs. GT as it's two higher-caliber teams and will be televised in my area (coastal Georgia) anyway.

 

Yeah, I had to research him just to remember his name. I just remember watching the 2011 Orange Bowl and seeing Tech's ass handed to them by Harbaugh's and Luck's Stanford team while the ESPN announcers were talking about how great Taylor was.

 

Georgia Tech vs. Va Tech has more talent to watch.

watch Attachou the LB for Ga Tech for sure. on VT, Fuller the CB, and probably Gayle who plays DE will be an OLB in the NFL. Exum, DB, is hurt, not sure on his status, don't follow Vick's alma matter with too much conviction, being a dog lover and all.

Oh its not looking good, i dont want to go on my own and my other friends interested in the NFL are kind of busy with things they cant get out of sooo its not looking good and id be wearing black as i liked the alternate ravens jersey the best ( got the latest sb winning replica shirt) but ill see, i may just go to see how bad that O line is.

I'm going to be at the game but I've not got a terrible towel lol the mrs ordered me a Jarvis jones jersey 3 weeks ago for my birthday and it's still not arrived, if it gets here on time I intend to wear it so keep an eye out for a guy in a number 95 shirt ha there can't be many fans in London with it.

Say yes and don't think twice. You'd never get a ticket there that cheap anywhere else, except maybe Jacksonville.

 

Gotta hit the hay here soon but some first half thoughts on the vatech game.

So i just watched 45 and 17 and the DT for GA also flashed at the goal line, incredible push and leverage but not much else.

45-the linebacker you guys mentioned... ok so he has a high motor, that is clear, he can shed but wont do so at the next level- way to reliant on his strength which is not enough to over power nfl lineman- furthermore, he needs a bigger frame for sure, like another 20 lbs at least, maybe 15. his speed was solid but he showed far to much hessitation and didnt trust his instincts, early in the 1st quarter he did get the qb from behind after he tried to scramble up the middle which wasnt a bad play but before he pursued, he literally ran to the T infront of him, stutter stepperd, realised it was run and not pass, then went inside- that sort of indecision and lack of awareness will cost at the next level BIG TIME.

so we would need to watch him more, but average showing in the first half-he was around the ball a lot and didnt miss any tackles.

as for 17 - the cb...well god knows what they are doing with him, he literally lined up at the damn LoS most of the snaps like he had long curly hair, but for the most part, he did show above average ability to close on the ball, and showed great accelleration-decent form tackling, and did blow a couple plays up BUTTTTTTTTTTTT didnt get to see him in coverage enough.

Didn't watch too much last night.. Was watching the rams Vs 49ners... BUt what the heck were those helmets VA Tech was wearing? Someone over thought that one....

very limited this weekend for watching college ball... unfortunately.. hope to read some reports on here.
