yeap, tough runner, built sort of like Adrian Peterson. He was dinged up, saw him the last few weeks.

On Khalil Mack, I don't want to get too down on the game vs. Baylor, they run the hurry up like Speedy Gonzalez on Crack.

Got my snacks lined up for 3:30 tomorrow, must see tv.

From what I saw, flipping game to game, Van Noy out of BYU doesn't quit on plays like Clowney. I think Clowney is a top ten pick at this point but not the consensus overall #1 pick as the pundits are predicting. I can already see Bridewater, Boyd going 1, 2.

The other games I will be watching on Saturday: UCLA Nebraska and Ohio State vs. Cal.

  2. Here's a question I've wondered for months:

If Clowney didn't have the huge hit against Michigan would the average fan even know who he is? He has one big hit and the media goes ga-ga over it after not mentioning him once the previous 3 months. Obviously we on this thread would because it's become an encyclopedia of prospects. Not saying he doesn't have a world of talent with good production to back that up, just something I've been wondering.

Clowney is a very good player who is hard to block because be can knife into the backfield. very hard to block he's a phsical freak . I don't think it's l hype but he's advertised by ESPN as the greatest thing since the wheel.

  4. That's what I'm thinking too. With or without the hit he's still an amazing talent but at the same time he was not once mentioned by until the hit and now everyone knows who he is and is pretending like they knew all along just how good he is.

  5. Clowney is a beast who will excel at the NFL level if healthy. The thing that I always come back to is his final 2 schools in recruiting were SC and......Alabama. Could you imagine this cat in Nick Saban's defense?

Barr looked good vs the Cornholers. Really liked the OT from UCLA just sophomore, Simon Goines, great feet and hand punch. I thought the OT from Nebraksa was grabbing a lot of Barr's jersey most of the afternoon

The Alabama corners suck arse! 14-0 already Alabama looks really sloppy.

35 unanswered and Manziel tackles like a Dyson Animal

  9. Manziel will win your school a Heisman, McCarron will win it a National Championship.

Don't know if I would draft any of he Alabama Corners, the 3 drives I've seen they couldn't cover my grandma.

I want this Evans kid, the Alabama corners have no answer for this kid.

    Evans line - 7 rec 279yds 1TD

Bingo. I would gladly take a Championship over a Heisman. To be a National Champ means that no other team was better. Plus you get a nice ring.

Yeah the WR & OT bail out Manziel left and right.

I thought Cyrus Kuandjio bounced back and had a much better game. Some of the penalties were ridiculous Clinton-Dix bogus ejection and the DL playing on without his helmet. I think Barr is a mich better fit for the 3-4 than Clowney. UCLA has some nice talent, will be interested to see if Hundley comes out and is taken before Taj Boyd, which I think he would.

Watching Cal last night, Goff the freshman QB will be someone to look at in the 2016 draft, kid is special.

  15. If Hundley is smart he won't declare. Between Bridgewater, Manziel, Boyd, Murray, McCarron and Fales it will be a very crowded QB group in the 1st/2nd.

  16. DeAndre Hopkins had a huge game for the Texas. He was one of the guys I really wanted.

Cordarelle Patterson ran back a kickoff 105 yards, AHEM :/

  18. I still have my doubts about Patterson. I always thought he had the Jonathan Baldwin syndrome in that he succeeded in college because he could out run and out jump everyone without worrying about good route running. Still very much boom or bust to me.

And I still have bad memories of Chris Rainey trying to return kicks that deep in the endzone and being tackled at the 15. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather have a reliable guy like Randle El than a roll of the dice guy.

  19. Robert Woods was my plan B after Hopkins and he's off to a very good start as well. I hope Wheaton starts getting involved soon, he has the look of a stud.

You just made me nostalgic for the 2002-2005 years, sb. Back when Randle El gave us a legit return man option. *INLOVE*
