I know I'm in the minority here, but I wish he stayed on the Steelers.

 

Is he eligible for the Practice Squad still? I sure hope so. He's certainly worth it, though I doubt we'd be able to stash him away.

 

I'd rather they keep Marcus Tucker on the PS

 

Tucker, Hamilton, and Ayers are all eligible for the PS. I think they will likely keep 2, but I think Hamilton will get signed somewhere.
Maxey and Ayers both got cut as well.

WR Sammie Coates to Browns

 

Now, Sammie Coates still gets to toast Joe Haden twice a year!

 

Too bad for the Browns that he likely won't hold onto the ball at those times.

 

Possibly. I actually wish Coates the best, I wanted to keep him and let DHB walk. They must be really convinced that Bryant won't relapse...Hopefully against the Steelers he remembers that he can't catch though lol

 

Even if Sammie does drop the ball, Joe will probably pull his hammie on the play. Win - Win.

Besides . . . We're used to receivers who can't catch.

 

This move is a head scratcher to me. Hopefully they know more about his inability to recover or something from groin and hand issues because on the surface this looks like a huge big fat mistake.

Steelers' brass must believe he won't ever grow and will be injury prone and continue to have drops....Hard to believe they valued aging Heyward Bey more than him.

Based on Bryant's tweet maybe they didn't get along? Sure hope Bryant doesn't relapse or this could go from being a position of strength to one of weakness really fast.

Stressing the positive I am excited to see Hunter play in regular season and Ben has said he really likes him.

I guess the whole debate earlier of whether Sammie Coates or Cobi Hamilton should be kept is now resolved as neither will make the team.
