Somehow this team made the playoffs. We’re going in on a three game winning streak. The game should be better than people think it will be. Hopefully Rudolph plays another good game.
The running game can be a great equalizer. The weather will be a factor. I think the Bills win but it'll be a grind.
I’m concerned about the defense without TJ to be able to apply pressure, and the middle of the defense being torched by TE’s. I think we need to limit the outside runs and go straight at this defense. The defense will need to come up with some key turnovers and the offense will have to capitalize on it, oh and I would love to Darnell Washington get his first TD.
With the recent rash of long time head coaches being fired, and with all the buzz calling for the head of McCarthy after another, early exit, if Tomlin and the Steelers have an early exit, does Tomlin step down? I honestly don’t think they’d fire him, so it would be his choice that happens. I guarantee if the Steelers have an early exit, the media won’t be demanding the head of Tomlin the same way they are McCarthy’s. If they do move on, any in-site into whom people would like to see brought in? Personally, I’d be interested in the Ravens DC. But it seems like the Steelers would hire someone lesser on everyone’s radar.
Tomlin is the coach as long as he wants to be the coach. He did a great job with this team. Second hardest schedule, worst QB room in the NFL, significant injuries and he won 10 games.
First, I completely agree. But didn’t Tomlin have a hand in creating the worst QB room? I’m not on the Fire Tomlin bandwagon, but that is probably a mark against rather than for the job he’s done. The injuries though were tough. Roberts has been better than I thought. Thought he would be a one year player and cut in the offseason, but now I hope they extend him
Yeah. If they bring in a good QB next year, I think the win 12 games. They have found an identity with the run.
They needed to be able to run the ball on 1st two possessions Rudolph is locking in on his first option, I thought he had Friermuth in the middle for a 1st down on that 3rd down play on 2nd possession
