    Hello Falcon fans,

I think the Steelers will lose to you guys this weekend. I hope I am wrong, but the Steelers are way too inconsistent and I think you will see the team who turns the ball over and makes other boneheaded decisions. Both teams are fighting for their playoff lives, and I want to be the first person to apologize for our pathetic play against the Saints a couple of weeks ago.

I want Julio Jones to play. I want to see the better team walk off the field because I hate excuses due to injury. Please give me insight if you know how serious his hip injury is! Playing against a pour Steeler secondary, I could easily see Jones or someone else going off with a 200 yard performance.

If you stop Leveon Bell you will win! Best of luck to you guys this weekend and thanks for making last Monday night exciting! I LOVE good FOOTBALL.

    Take care,

    JMac

Thanks for stopping by! We hope the Steelers can repeat the atrocious performance from the Saints game. We obviously need all the help we can get.

The early word from Flowery Branch is that Julio Jones is likely to miss practice most of the week - possibly all of it - and the team is simply hoping to have him available this weekend. Roddy White and Harry Douglas are also banged up. Both of them were "limited" participants on Wednesday.

That's more significant than normal because the Falcons only had a non-contact walkthrough session rather than a full contact practice since they're coming off a Monday game.

Also noteworthy: the team has only two experienced players in the current offensive line - guards Justin Blalock and Jon Asamoah. Both of them were limited today with back injuries. Our other three linemen are a rookie left tackle, an UNDRAFTED rookie (and third string) center, and a second year undrafted right tackle.

  3. While I feel gratitude toward the Steelers for smacking down the Bengals last week, I don't feel so indebted so as to cheer for them this week. I will be looking for them to continue to inexplicably struggle against NFCS teams. Hey the Ravens need a little help too and we bird teams have to stick together....well sorta *THUMBSUP*

The Falcons can't stop the run and the Steelers do not have any NFL caliber cornerbacks. Ike Taylor is a dumpster fire.

So Le'Veon may have 200 rushing again, and if Julio is healthy he'll put up 200. If Julio is out, Roddy will look like 2010 Roddy White, and Harry Douglas will also look like 2010 Roddy White.
