Weekend sweep of the Padres gets them back in the winning mode. Arizona next up.

Giants sucked against the Padres. It does look like Posey has gotten over his season starting slump, Crawford has show he belongs and Zito still has something in the tank. Cain and Vogalsong are the Lincecum and Zito (at the beginning of the season) of last year. MadBum is slowly becoming the ace of this staff. Gotta get it back on track tonite against the hot D'Backs.

Oh, and MadBum does a great impression of Stork from Animal House.

Giants win 2 in a row against the D'Backs. Panda hits a 2 run homer in the top of the ninth to help get the win tonite.

The Giants are killing me. Another come from behind win. Belt with the game winning 3 run homer. I'm buying a defibulater today, don't know how much more of this torture I can take.

Dodgers at Giants tonite. Kershaw and Zito take the bump for their respective teams. Giants on a roll after sweeping the D'Backs in Arizona. Let's see them carry that over to this series.

Posey's walk off homer beats the Dodgers 2-1.

Guillermo Quiroz? He has the game winning walk off homer as the Giants do it for the second night in a row, 10-9 over the Dodgers.

He was the last position player left for the Giants.

Giants sweep the Dodgers as Pence drives in all 4 runs in a 4-3 win.

Giants tied for first with Arizona with Colorado a half game back.

Giants take 3of 4 from the Braves this weekend. Giants score 26 while giving up only 10 runs. Nice to see Cain, MadBum and Lincecum dominate.

Giants look like crap last night against the Blue Jays. They'll try again tonite with Vogalsong on the bump.

Giants win 8-6 over Colorado last night. Cain gets the win even though he gave up the 6 runs. Crawford was the big bat with a bases loaded double.

I give ya credit jeep99tj, you are diligent in this thread.

Its difficult for me to follow baseball because my team has crushed my hopes for 2 decades now but we will be launching the baseball site soon so I will have to live through the heartbreak all over again.

I love the game and the team Tim. I think the title of your site might give people the impression that this site is all about football and nothing else. The hockey threads are starting to come to life with the playoffs going and I'm sure that some of the football fanatics will stray over here when there is nothing going on in football.

As far as heartbreaks go the Giants have had their share. The 89 series with the earthquake and the 02 series when they were 5 outs away in game 6 from winning and ended up losing in 7 games. These past few years have made it all worth it.

M-N-C is an extension of a larger site that will go live sometime over the next 6 months.

The baseball site (NBA,NHL in the works as well) will have its own name and its own location.

They will all tie back to this forum.

When we launch the MLB site I'm sure we will get more people in here to discuss baseball with you.

In the meantime if there is anything you need be sure to let us know and we will help you out as quickly as possible.

MadBum on the bump tonite for the Giants as they look to make it 11 straight against the Rockies. As long as the hitting holds up (Belt and Crawford in particular at the bottom of the order) they should make it happen.
