Heck of a first game to start the season. I expect the Packers will try running the ball to slow down the Seahawks pass rush. With Lacy, Sharks and Harris they've got some good RBs this year. They'll need their starting center (Corey Linsley) to not make rookie mistakes. Making your first debut in the NFL on the road in a place a loud as the Clink is going to be a challenge for him. Packers signed Julius Peppers as free agent this off season and have Clay Matthews back again. These two in the line up should improve the Packers defense this year. They'll have their hands full, because the Seahawks offense this preseason looks ready to step it up. Seahawks also have a rookie starting on the OL (Justin Britt) and a new starting LG in James Carpenter. They may be a upgrade to those that started last year, time will tell. Couple of things I wishing for, 1) please let the refs be a non factor 2) everyone comes out healthy, no injuries for both teams. *DRINK*
Seeing lots of views , but no comments. So let me ask a question that I hope will get some posts on this thread. You got Packers or Seahawks? You know who I got, I'm sure. Leave a reason why also.
Well thanks for your post. You know most team boards here are slow, but not all the Ravens, Bears , Browns, and Steelers board are active. It would be nice if posters from those boards chip him here. After all I'm talking about the first NFL game of the season and it should be a good one. I'm sure some have thoughts about who wins this game. Speak up everyone and lets have a little action here on the Seahawk board.
I'm cheering for the Packers so you can direct your hate here unless someone else shows up. Man what a dumb penalty to run into the punter. Free 3 points for Seattle.
Not the start I was hoping for, but a lot of game left. I'm waiting for the Seahawks to go hurry up on offense.
A couple of bad mistakes by the Seahawks in the first half. Need to clean those up. Pass rush isn't that great, but the offense looks good.
