Saints @ Steelers game thread.

This game doesn’t mean anything if we win. If we lose it will make all the talking heads rank us at the bottom of the league. Watt is back and Minkah is out with an appendectomy. Maybe Kazee can fill the void.
lets go take them out.

 

Lets get back to some Steelers football.

 

Good response after a stalled first possession.

 

65 yard drive for a FG. 10-0 Steelers.

 

The offense better step it up this drive! It would be nice to be 17-3 at halftime.

 

Watt is getting it done. We need to change up our offensive play calling.

 

Pickett has got to throw the ball away instead of taking the sacks!!! That’s the one knock I have on him right now.

 

Defense has got to cover the TE

 

Unf’n believable way to step up offense and just take it in for a score at half, instead the saints get it and our defense lets them score!!

 

Sounds like offense is still sputtering. Running game had a spark early. Need to come out of half and put the foot down. 0 confidence in that happening unfortunately

 

Another sack on Pickett, his fault or OL?

 

Then the offense sputters and comes away with nothing on a missed FG.

 

20-10 Steelers. Defense stepped up in the second half. Running game does exist.

 

One thing I was happy with is the drive that started at the 2 and went 83 yards. A TD would've been nice but a 3 and out would've been tough on the D. Overall, I was happy with Pickett.
