Tyson Clabo signed with the Dolphins.
Andre Smith is off the market as well (not that the Falcons were after him)

    I guess its Lamar Holmes??

I think Mike Johnson will also be in the mix. He is kind of a strange story as we drafted him also in the third round, he came from Alabama, he was drafted as a tackle I believe but he never cracked the starting line up. Even when we had injuries. From what I know he also has that nasty attitude like Dahl and we used him as a swing tackle on goal line formations

The comments from Smitty and especially Dimitroff do point towards Holmes. Without listing names, they said it's time for the young guys to play. Best guess is they weren't talking about Joe Hawley and Mike Johnson.

Looks like our line is shaping up to be Baker, Blalock, Konz, Reynolds, and Holmes, with Hawley and Johnson as the active backups. Keeping in mind that Reynolds is a natural tackle and that Johnson can play guard or tackle on either side, that unit does provide a lot of depth all across the line.

The one big mystery is what they plan to do with the cap space from releasing Clabo. Apparently something was in the works, but we've had no real news since then.

On Johnson: he played both guard and tackle while at Alabama, and his versatility was one of the main things Atlanta liked about him when drafting him. He lost 2011 to injury but has otherwise done well, and it should be noted that he was our true backup LT last season.

(The depth chart listed Holmes, but Holmes was on the inactive list every week except at the end of the season while Hawley was suspended. If something had happened to Sam Baker during a game, Johnson would have been the next man in.)

CBSSports.com reported that Clabo's cap space won't clear until June 1st.

Howdy, cawsnallthis. The speculation here in Flowery Branch is that the next move will be someone on defense, probably a linebacker. But an established RT wouldn't be a bad thing either.
