Babe Ruth autograph went for $2999.99 on eBay last week. That's low compared to the ones out there for sale.

eBay is crazy right now with card prices - people are nuts.

I will admit , i got on the Carson Wentz, Jason Groome and Connor McDavid wagon early with cheap autograph cards for kicks. I am selling both-Wentz and McDavid now with bids received on eBay for over $75 each and Groome for $20! Not a a bad investment for the payoff.

What condition? His rookie is rare and goes into the thousands......Also, it's extremely tough to find one in decent condition. By decent I'm talking PSA 5 or 6. They go in the thousands.......

a good 2. Vezina is Vezina and his cards sell. Not many out there.

his rookie even in pr-fr condition 1 goes for high hundreds. it's over 100 yrs old. our old buddy Joe Malone has a card from the same set as Vezina.

Someone has pristine cards from that set that were NOT the same as the others. Some kind of proof card. 1 Vezina is like $250,000! It's pristine and in this prototype or rare release version. it looks brand new and it's 107 yrs old. Wow.

I believe it......Most of the lower graded ones go for a couple thousand.......You have to wonder what his signature looks like since thats what I collect. I've never seen one! *SCRATCH* I did have a Joe Montana rookie years ago and sold it years ago when I started getting into auto's.....

$6000 g's igloo is a lot of scratch for a hockey card! i don't have that kind of coin laying around. you might have it under your mattress and hiding it away from Mrs. Igloo. hahaha

I don't collect rookie cards Fish :D I'd like to see a Vezina signature someday......Even though I wouldn't be able to afford it let alone his rookie.......Maybe I'll try to look one up online?

I took the week off last week and am trying to sell some double auto's that I have. And it ain't easy.......I have a brother in Detroit and a younger son whose job was transferred to Chicago about 4 months ago and he decided to go. So when the National is in one of those cities, I'll have a place to stay and maybe some help setting up a table. Until then, I'll be listing on ebay. But not my prime stuff on ebay. I'll save some of that for the Nationals......

i tried to warn you igloo. people are not paying nearly close to top value for anything. they want it all ON THE CHEAP! plus the ebay and paypal fees, you lose almost $75-125 for any top item over $1000 in fees alone, so if you sell it for $1075, be prepaid for only get around $950-$975 for it. cards bought today and resold weeks later aren't even close to the same price. it's nuts.

i had some offers sent via email so insulting, i told them to stop contacting me. if i paid xxx, and selling for close to what i paid or a little lower, im not going to sell it for $500-700 lower than that ! or they wanna trade. no thanks.
