Lamar Jackson vs Deshaun Watson. Or rather, the Baltimore Ravens vs the Houston Texans. Today's game be a battle between two teams that are chasing a playoff bye week as the Ravens will host the Texans. This is a game that almost guaranteed to be exciting. The Ravens defense will be facing a better passing, less athletic Lamar Jackson while the Texans defense will be facing a more athletic, less accurate Deshaun Watson. It'll be interesting to see if practicing against their QBs will help them today. I may be bias, but I think the Texans defense will be more caught off guard than the Ravens defense will be. Another interesting matchup will be DeAndre Hopkins vs the Ravens secondary. Both Jimmy Smith and Marlon Humphrey are fantastic cover corners, but Hopkins is the best in the game and has been for years imo. With Will Fuller out, Hopkins likely gets a lot lf attention. But wait, I haven't really talked about the QBs yet. This will be a battle between two MVP candidates. Lamar has been giving the NFL world highlight reel plays, but so has Watson. I couldn't even explain how impressed I was when he threw that TD pass, after being kicked in the eye, and having to also readjust his helmet while throwing the pass. That play hasn't gotten enough attention imo. The Texans need this game to keep their division lead. The Ravens now have a more comfortable lead thanks to the Browns upsetting the Steelers, but they need this game to stay on the heels of New England and homefield advantage. This should have been the sunday night game no question. LET'S GO, RAVENS!!!
You know what, that's fair. I didn't know who was favored. Was more going off the team on a 4 game winning streak vs the team on a 4 game losing streak. Of course those streaks didn't matter Thursday night
Actually, we didn't have a 4 game losing streak. We beat the Bills last week. So we're on a 2 game winning streak. Too bad it feels like a loss thanks to our idiot ex-DE.
Andrews with another TD catch, yay my fantasy team heh 14-0 but I am not crazy enough to count out the Texans.
Watson just got landed on by Ferguson, Great pressure by the rookie but he may have broken Watson's ankle Edit: hes back up, wow, lucky he didnt get hurt seriously
This is so bittersweet. I'm loving all these sacks on Watson and the overall play, but in my money league I'm starting Watson and playing against Lamar AND the Ravens defense
I learned long ago, playing fantasy for money isn't a wise course of action. Too many variables, too many injuries that will derail a season for you. But i wish you good luck in it.
The refs refuse to call pi against the Ravens . You guys will win in a landslide because you have all the calls going your way
