The time is now, Ravens vs Steelers round 1. Today will see the 2-1 Baltimore Ravens host the 2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams dropped the ball last week against seemingly inferior opponents, and both will likely come into this game pissed off. The question will be, who will want it more. The Ravens are coming off and embarrassing loss to the London.....I mean Jacksonville Jaguars and will need to regroup in a big way to walk away with the victory today and it starts with the offense. The Ravens need to show they can replace RG Marshal Yanda with at least a competent backup, while also doing what they can to establish a run game. And for that, they may need to play Alex Collins over Terrence West. The Steelers struggled against the run last week so Baltimore will need to hit them in the mouth to have a real shot at this game. The offense also must get the WRs going one way or another. What was considered to potentially be the fastest WR corp in the league, with a big armed QB, has been mostly useless so far. On defense, Baltimore needs to rebound from last week's ass whooping. Like Pittsburgh, Baltimore also struggled against the run without NT Brandon Williams, who will not be active today. The Ravens also struggled with the pass which they simply can't do this week against Ben, Brown, and Bryant. Jimmy Smith and Marlon Humphrey have both been great in coverage, including last week's beating which they deserve zero blame for. Hopefully the rest of the secondary, and front, can play a little closer to their levels. One fanbase will deem the season close to over, while the other will announce their team as being back on track for the AFC North title. Let's find out which we'll be. LET'S GO, RAVENS!!!!
Am I the only one who thought Bergstrom played well as a backup? How is he inactive again? Also, can't find my Reddit link. Anybody have one they can send?
RR1 check your pm thing, i started a "conversation" or whatever im nervous as fuck. god damn steelers week 2k
Thanks 2k. Glad we didn't start with a 3 and out. Need more Collins in there. And maybe some WR routes that go beyond the first down marker
We are far too scared of that front 7, then again we dont have our HoF guard sooooooooo it might be somewhat understandable, they want to keep flacco calm but the rush is already getting there I said it before, only hope we have is if ben goes full retard and that is unlikely. 2k
http://live.robinwidget.org/streamv...-pittsburgh-steelers-live-stream-4471762.html Bergstrom might still be learning the playbook.
Their O is so damn balanced and without williams they dont need to double as hard int he middle. That was a great play by webb who used suggs to just cover himself- they hard blocked suggs there and over compensated. all in all nice play and sack 2k
That is gonna happen all day, you have to respect the PA and pass and they are leaving so much space and holes upfront no bueno 2k
Is it me, or do the Ravens always seem to suck on defense whenever the other team is pinned to their own goal line?
This is the most vanilla defence ive seen. it is so absurdly simple to play against. Like i said, they need to make mistakes big time for us to stand a chance. Losing our 2 best trench players either side of the ball is a fucking sadistic joke. 2k
The dropoff from Williams to Davis is like the dropoff from Flacco to Mallet. That's one of my pet peeves with Pees. When he has all his starters his defense looks great. If just one of the starters go down, his defense looks like crap.
People forget how this game really is a game of inches and degrees, slight incremental upgrades matter, davies is good , williams is potentially an all star. big ass difference practically speaking and we always notice it the most in the trenches, every top tier D is anchored by a legit interior lineman 2k
