Saw that the thread wasn't started. We're benching ablot of starters, so let's see if the backups can beat the Steelers AND set the single season rushing record.

McSorely seeing action. Ravens, I think, came in needing 93 yards to be the #1 rushing team of all time, and 126 yards to be the first team to average 200 passing and 200 rushing per game (they also need under 60 passing yards for that as well)

Don't quote me on these exact numbers

Apparently the last time the steelers lost a season finale was against the Ravens in 2007 who were coincidentally starting their backup QB in Troy Smith.

True, but the circumstances were reversed. In 07, the game didn't matter to Pittsburgh. This year it's win or go home for them while it doesn't matter at all for Baltimore.

Also, New England losing to Miami reallllllly hurts their chances at a superbowl. I can't see them going into Arrowhead and winning

Jaleel Scott is playing and I hope he gets a decent amount of looks in the game. After Baltimore breaks the record at least.

Gus Edwards is the player to set the all time rush record

As much as I like Andrews, Hurst easily has the best hands on the team. And was clocked as the fastest TE in the league. He needs more targets

In theory the Ravens have the superior QB out there today, but I don't know. Something about Griffin just lends zero confidence for me. I'm not talking about his posing after a completion, but it seems like he's more concerned about making highlights than playing sound. I'm talking about 2 no look passes thus far. He's not Lamar or Patrick.

These are also the games you get upset with the defense giving up any points. The steelers could barely field a pop warner competent offense. Granted the defense is sitting starters and letting guys like Averett play, but it's no excuse against this team.

There we go. Sack fumble is certainly more of the expected result.

Hill with back to back beautiful effort plays.

Similar to last week, 10 points in the last minute changes the game outlook.

Not sure, but I think that wheel route to Hill got the Ravens the 200 & 200 record. Can't get more balanced than that as a team

If we believe NFL.com stats, I think the Ravens need 1 more passing yard. They have 55, and I think they need 56.

Ahh, you may be right. Someone needs to tell John and Roman so they can get that out the way

Side note, if Ingram isn't ready in the divisional round, I will not be concerned about Gus at RB.........except in terms of when Lamar tries to pull the ball back. It was with Gus that Lamar had so many fumbles last season, vs just 1 with Ingram. But as a runner, Gus will be fine imo.

And as soon as I say that he fumbles

I'm going to say weather has a hand in fumbles today.

Also, the league is going to have to take a look at the "punch out". I have no problems with Watt punching the ball on the fumble. I have a problem when he stands still and punches at Griffin instead of even attempting a tackle.

Tennessee, Buffalo, or Houston. Who would you rather see come to Baltimore in 2 weeks.

I'm leaning......Houston. Titans have been just plan hot since switching to Tannehill. Buffalo still has a defense and an offense that you never know what to expect from. Texans coming to play a cold game in Baltimore is my top choice, and that would require them winning AND New England beating the Titans

  17. Kid M.V.P. Ravens

I'll say the Titans because it's still Tannehill. Follow that with the Bills because I think they are still a bit young to know how to win. The Texans are getting Watt back. Not sure I want to see their resurgence.

It was amazing watching this game. With Griffin, we are a good team, but not much different from any Ravens team we've seen over the years - lots of FG, a TD or 2, and good defensive play. With Jackson, we are an elite team and one of the greatest regular season teams in NFL history.

Meh. If the line can make Aarond Donald disappear, I'm not concerned about Watt after barely playing the season and probably being out of football shape.

That said, we probably will get Tennessee. I think they beat New England next week, which guarantees them a trip to Baltimore

It will be interesting if it is the Titans. As more insult to injury, the one good thing the Browns had this year was Chubb, and Henry cruised past him for rushing leader today which shouldn't have remotely been possible.

Griffin passed for one more yard than Duck today. Oof
