Monday night football is upon us and we have the Rams at their place tonight.

I expect to get their best as they play way better at home and I expect this to be relatively tough sledding.
I see Aaron Donald being a real issue for the interior of our line and I can see Lamar sprinting out a lot to get away from that pressure.
I can see Hollywood being taken out of the game plan by Ramsey so perhaps the damage in the passing game will fall on Andrews and maybe Boykin or Snead. Here is an opportunity for Boykin to step up and seize the moment and make an impact.
Can Ingram continue to make an impact in the passing game and it will really come down to ball control for the offense.
I see this as a low scoring affair, in relative terms, so perhaps 3 offensive scores

As for the defense, I think this will come down to stopping the run and pressure on Goff. If we can effectively stop the run and force Goff to shoulder the load, I can see him turning the ball over or being ineffective.

He has been relatively poor in comparison to last season, so if we force him to be the catalyst I think we have a good shot.

I think overall the final will be something like 27-17 Ravens.

    Pretty accurate assessment. ^^^^^^^

I'm glad someone started this thread. The division is pretty much locked up unless the Ravens collapse in a monumental way, so the team has to be focused on staying on the Patriots' heels for home field advantage. For some reason I thought the Eagles or Cowboys would beat them, but clearly that didn't happen.

In regards to the game, I don't think the Rams offense will do a lot today. I don't have faith in Goff throwing that well on this secondary. Add in that the o-line is supposed to be a mess. Let's hope the longest win streak in Harbaugh Ravens history continues.

    LET'S GO, RAVENS!!!

Defense starts with a 3 and out. Let's see how the offense does

As a Vikings fan the Ravens look like there on another level so far they look very impressive

For anyone curious, Lamar is now tied for 2nd most PASSING touchdowns in the NFL.

Sam Koch has the best job ever. Getting paid good money to just catch and hold the ball during extra points.

I don't even have words for tonight. 6 drives and 6 TDs for Jackson. This is the 4th game where Lamar takes a seat for the 4th quarter.

The Ravens are far from a Super Bowl lock or even to win a playoff game, but everyone has to appreciate that we are seeing the best offense the NFL has ever seen over these 11 weeks. In my wildest dreams I never would have believed that would happen.

If they aren't the best, it's probably top 3 to 5 in NFL history right now. Assuming they only kick a FG right here, they will be averaging 35 point per game, and again that's with their starting QB sitting for what amounts to an entire game this season already.

    Two responses to this.

    1. Lamar has missed basically an entire game, yet he leads the NFL in total TDs and is tied for first passing TDs.

    2. I looked up the scoring a week or two ago and, I think, we were 7th all time in points per game in a season. After Houston and this game, we could be top 5.

Yeah if my math was correct, they should be averaging about 35 points per game even.

Also, after Koch's punt with RG3 in, he has now punted a whopping 22 times this year.

Jackson also had to be damn close to another perfect passed rating. If Andrews caught that ball which he then fumbled, or Brown and Snead didn't drop passes, he'd be there.

    139.38. I just calculated it.

The lack of big yardage prevented another perfect passer rating.

First player in NFL history with 4 passing TD and 50 rushing yards in consecutive games.

Next week against the 49ers is going to be nuts. After their demolishing the Packers, it's probably the two best teams in the NFL right now. That 49ers dline is a nightmare to think about especially with our starting center down,. But handling Donald gives me some hope.

Bet the NFL is kicking themselves that they didn't flex the 49er/Raven game to Sunday night football..... idiots :) Great game by the guys though, destroyed the Rams on their field, their fans were gone by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

From the Seahawks to the Rams, this was supposed to be the super tough stretch of games that brought the Ravens back down to earth after "only beating up on bad teams". 5 games into this 6 game stretch and the Ravens are 5-0 with no game being less than a 14 point win and 3 of them being 30+ point blowouts. I don't think even the most diehard Ravens fan would have predicted what this team has become.

The offense gets all the love, which they deserve. 30 points on a Patriots defense that no other team has scored 20 on, 41 on the Texans, 45 on the Rams in LA, but what about the defense?? They've held Wilson to 16 in Seattle, Patriots to 20, Texans to 7, and the Rams to 6. They've been almost as dominant as the offense. Easily the most complete team in Ravens history

We've also destroyed the rankings of opposing defenses. I think the Rams were #5 against the run going into last night. Today they are #16. Similar thing for the Texans who were way up there but now sit at #17.

We probably realistically need 1 win for the division which seems pretty doable given the course of the season. Sights are set significantly higher than that though with the #2 conference seed in their grasp potentially.

Rams were #4. 3 hours later, they dropped to 16. That's freaking insane

Guilty. I've already said I was wrong a couple of times. But, the fact is, you did beat up some really bad teams. That's why I made that comment at the time. But, facts change. Since then, you've beat up some good to really good teams. So, I'll say it again . . .

    I WAS WRONG !!!!

I'm not sure what to even say that has not been said. I can't believe they lined up and ran right at Donald and he was an absolute non factor. He gets doubled every game but still makes play after play. I can't even understand what we did differently that neutralized him to that degree.

The Jackson threat to run is so powerful at this point that the offense is completely different when he comes out.l When Griffin was in, the holes instantly became minuscule and the running game totally dried up.

I counted at least 6 different receivers getting involved (maybe more if I miscounted). Boykin took advantage of an opportunity (4th down play and the long bomb from Griffin) to make a small mark on the game. I hope he builds on that. We could use another threat to keep the heat off of Brown and Andrews.

My son and I talk about it all the time when we say we can't believe that we got so lucky to be part of this kind of offense and to be in on the Jackson thing from the ground floor. We always say this is what it may have felt like when the Pats fans realized that Brady was so good out of nowhere and they could look forward to this kind of thing for perhaps years to come? So this is what it feels like to have an offensive juggernaut!

    Feels nice....
