Ravens vs Lions, Week 13 Gameday Thread

Today we'll see how the Ravens do against the most prolific QB they'll have faced to date in 2017 when Matthew Stafford comes to town. For as goo as the Ravens pass defense has been, they've been criticized for having faced a lot of backup QBs. Tom Savage had the best game against them, but that was mainly thanks to having the player I believe to be the best in the game, DeAndre Hopkins (how is it we can't get a WR like this before they hit 30???). Stafford has some weapons in the passing game, but none in the run game so the secondary will be tested. The Ravens pass rush will need to help out, and they may have gotten a break with Detroit's starting center being ruled out, and one of their guards being questionable after only practicing on a limited basis on Friday.

Luckily for the Ravens, maybe, the Lions defense is not that good. So even the Joe Flacco led 2017 Ravens offense should be able to put up at least 20 points right? RIGHT?? We'll find out at 1pm.

    LET'S GO, RAVENS

Since the Steelers have a relatively comfortable lead in the north I am rooting for the Ravens because I also like the Packers. The chances are slim but a Ravens win helps them out. So..........Go Ravens.

I need to rinse my mouth out now.

No chance the Ravens catch the Steelers unless y'all play your second string the rest of the way.

Ravens fans, Perriman inactive, Campanero active. This is the furthest into a season Camp has made it

  4. The Lions rush attack is not great so our D doesn't have to stack the box. Also, they've allowed Stafford to get sacked 36 times this season. Their receivers are good, but not great so 1 on 1 coverage with heavy pocket pressure should make for an interesting game. I'm expecting Detroit to pass all game. Hoping they get a couple early sacks to get in Stafford's head and keep a comfy lead all game.

On paper we should dominate their offense BUT as we all know having been ravens fans for years that the most likely outcome somehow is that stafford puts up 30 and flacco throws for less than 150 yards

    Please dont suck.

  6. That was a rare penalty change. Thought this was going to be another bad start penalty wise.

  10. Yeah but we still suck. Might as well ask them to teleport to the first down. It's may be in their playbook, but they don't know how to make it happen.

Bad timing on that last play. Maclin or Joe?

    Koch is amazing.

Honestly, with even Maclin being a let down (worst first season for a "big name" Wr with the Ravens), I really want to see Chris Moore get some time. He's not great but damned if he doesn't look like he puts out the most effort as of late

Does anyone else keep getting logged out on their phone?

Anyway, at least the defense doesn't looked outmatched. Yeah Tate dropped it but miscommunication led to the previous 3rd down conversion

Looks like Moore is the #3 receiver today.

Mosely a little lowkey is doing very good things this season. he isnt getting as much attention as Judon, Suggs, Smith etc

As for Humps, is he inactive? the guy is so promising i wish he could get reps here as the number 2, i really want to see him play more on the outside and get him used to using the sideline to box out wr's
