Lots of news from training camp over the last week. Earl Thomas is released for, what seems like, a multitude of reasons. I feel confident that the Ravens, as an organization, had a good strong case for releasing him. I would assume for far more than the fight at practice. I have seen reports that state he was frequently late, missed practice/walk through and did not put in work to be better. Sounds like he was coasting on his talent rather than working hard to get better and his peers,(Chuck Clark and potentially others) called him on it and Earl did not like that. It looks like the players leadership council were the ones who made the decision that they did not want him around any more. Very telling. Lamar has a "groin" issue. I think that may be a bit overblown and they staff is just being cautious. I expect there is nothing really to it and it was merely a slight tweak and should be fine. Dobbins is lighting it up based on all accounts I have seen. I feel good about him being in the top of the mix at the RB position. WR are starting to really grow and excel. I like the sound of that. I know training camp reports are usually all rosy and good, but that is still good to hear. What are your thoughts on the camp so far, the lack of preseason games and the whole outlook moving forward?
Just read that Jackson and Marcus Peters are both back at practice today after missing a couple with the 'soft tissue thing'.
