The Bridgewater to NE idea is one that I have seen a few people pining for.

 

Saw an interesting piece from an odds-maker: Phillip Rivers to Tampa Bay. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to throw to, and Bruce Arians wanting to chuck the rock 600+ times a year, Rivers could be a fantasy stat monster with the Bucs,

 

I see that a lot of you guys have Brees staying. Two year extension ??
I think he has one good year left in him.
Then, can Taysom Hill be an every down QB ??
I know Sean Payton loves the guy.
And Bridgewater to NE ?? That could work !!

 

I know Tennessee will almost certainly re-sign Ryan Tannehill...but how about going after Tom Brady? Push all your chips to the middle of table, get Brady together with AJ Brown and Corey Davis, supported by the beast that is Derrick Henry.

 

Taysom Hill is a restricted FA....I wonder if any teams in need will make a go at him and if NO would counter if the offer was significant.

 

Behind a good offensive line. Which, I imagine, is 2nd to having weapons on Brady's wishlist if he truly entertains playing for another team.

 

But what happens when Tannehill catches wind if a move like that ??
Now, he's gonna start shopping around and the whole thing very messy very fast.
Once that first domino falls, it's a mad scramble.

 

PLUS long-term familiarity with the coach. And top 10 in cap space.

 

So what? If you're going to make Tommy Terrific an offer he can't refuse, who cares what Ryan Tannehill does or where he goes? I mean, you're not going to try to keep him long-term, too.

 

The fans here in Nashville would go over the top for a move like that.

It's a short term thing but could allow them to take a shot at the SB next season.

 

I think that any team would go after Bridgewater before Hill.

 

Tannehill played well this season but he's not the missing piece for any team.
