I admit to being somewhat ambivalent - I really hate to see a depleted roster limp into the playoffs, and be one and done, however I really don't see anyone else in the AFC running away with this thing either. That said, I ran through a bunch of scenarios on the ESPN Playoff Machine, and it basically comes down to this - If the Ravens win 2 of the next 3, no matter who they beat, they are in the playoffs. If they beat Cincy in that scenario, they win the North, and end up as a 3 or 4 seed. If they lose 2 of 3, they need the win to be against Cincy or Pittsburgh, and get a lot of help. In which case I would prefer they not make it at all.
This team is a complete MASH unit and while they have performed very admirably, I do think that John's lack of trust in his defense really shown in the 2 decisions to bypass overtime. This D is just plain BAD against the pass and regardless of if they make it to the playoffs, I can't see them winning shoot out after shoot out. This team really feels like the old early 90's Dolphins, strong Offense, horrible D
