Which means no QB change. Not there was going to be one with a Thursday Night game. The week after though you might get your wish. Trubisky’s #2 supporter on these boards is losing most of his faith. Not that Canada’s game plan is doing him any favors. Can’t even blame the OL, they’ve actually been below average rather than leagues worst. At least in pass protection, still not good enough in the run game.
You have to keep defenses honest by throwing deep, if you’re not throwing deep due to the OL then you need to start drafting pedigree OL in the first and second rounds to give the QB more time.
This was the problem in Chicago, too. While yes, the line could've been better in both places, there has to be some honesty about Mitch's inability to threaten deep. He just doesn't have the vision or accuracy. I'm noticing that Beachbum guy is noticeably absent. I just can't think of why.
Sorry to the rest of the Steelers fans. I was rooting for you. Hopefully they can win in spite of the QB position, going forward.
This game plan was all on Canada, the Steelers went out and got younger at QB for mobility purposes and a youthful arm. If you’re gonna continue to play dink and stink we should’ve just kept Ben! I thought we were going to see the entire playbook this year and it seems like we did see the entire playbook because the playcalling is the same as last year.
