First saw this watching the WS last night and his picture with '1992-2014' under his face. Tragic......very tragic. Couldn't believe it.
I was shocked. It is very tragic news. However, this is the 3rd active Cardinal player to die since 2002. Does that not strike anyone as odd? What other major sports team has had that sort of bad luck? Another tragedy for the Cards.
Yeap! Kile, Hancock, and now Taveras. I remember Girardi who gave the announcement that the Cubs/Cardinal game would be postponed in 2002 after a Cardinal tragedy, and yes, it is very odd.
