Big Pat agreed to a 4 year, $48.4 million extension. Guaranteed money hasn’t been released, but locking up the 25 year old hitting his prime can do nothing but help the offense. Just gotta hope he can avoid major injuries/concussions, as he will be vital in helping the Steelers offense improve. Pat Freiermuth, Steelers agree to four-year contract extension
Who’s going to throw him the ball? Wilson needs to be deactivated this weekend. His calf is bothering him again and he shouldn’t play this week.
I am starting to wonder if Wilson will ever be healthy in 2024. Even with Muth signing, I am still mocking Harold Fannin Jr. to the Steelers in round 4. Look at Baltimore with Likely and Andrews, a real dual threat. I am still a fan of Darnell, but until someone actually figures out to get the big fella the ball, the jury is still out. Pruitt is ok, vet experience, but not explosive.
Current projections have us picking 126,147,160 in the middle rounds on day 3. After I looked at QB, WR, and DL (picks 25,60,91) then I think OT, TE, and DB are in play. which is why I am studying the TE group for 2025. It may not be as good as 2023 but it's close. You can easily upgrade Heyward and Pruitt, my two cents and if Muth gets another concussion, you need a backup plan. Example: Ravens with Isiah Likely when Andrews was hurt.
