Thank god Zaun doesn't dress like Cherry. I can't stand Grapes anyways! He supposed to talk hockey and I remember he used to cut up Jagr all the time because of his hair. What an a-hole..... *THUMBSUP*
Today in 1973 - Phil Niekro of the Atlanta Braves pitched a 9-0 no-hitter against the San Diego Padres.
MLB N.L. Rookie of the Month = Jung Ho Kang..... Edit: Hey Fish, hows King Kang doing for ya? In the mix for ROY which is a pretty good group....
Today in 1973 - Phil Niekro of the Atlanta Braves pitched a 9-0 no-hitter against the San Diego Padres. Not for nothing, but in 1973 I could have tossed a no-no against the woeful Pads.
tigers still need a closer, will... so, with that in mind, let me ask: are u experienced? have u ever been experienced?
I was always quite fond of the backwards masking guitar solo in that tune... interesting cool sounding stuff.
igloo--i dropped kang the moment he went in the tank. fantasy is a weekly fight so wins and losses are by week. i can't have any weak links and kang was one, so he had to go. sorry.
Don't have apologize Fish. With Mercer and Harrison out he's been playing most or all of July. He was really on a tear recently or maybe still is......
Mercer and Harrison are due back a bit sooner than expected. In about 2 more weeks. They are due back 3 days apart, so almost the same time. Then Hurdle will have some difficult decisions on who to play. Kang is better defensively at 3rd but can play SS. But Harrison is also decent at 3rd and has a better bat than Mercer. But Kang might push Mercer offensively. I guess it's a good position to be in, having too many good players and who to play. The Pirates are never in this position very much. They need a starter with Burnett out, imo......
Not sure Will. They have been making some minor trades and many have been moving up and down. Worley was sent down, I know that, and he was like the 6th starter in case of emergency. He was pitching terribly this year compared to last. I forget who they called up....I say bring up Glasnow. He is their #1 prospect and he's a starter. Put him in a couple games and see what he does.....
I agree. Bringing in Worley is like bringing in an auto-loss... he's been terrible. Might as well give some young guns some Big League Experience.
