big daddy joe. the eagles petitioned the NFL of their change to their logo and color scheme in 2016 or 2017 and i think they are going back to the old green uni's. that or the gang green of the reggie white/clyde simmons (RIP GUYS) days.
It looks like they aren't all updated yet as they almost all look the same. I really don't like those triangles covering up the corners tough. I honestly wouldn't use a theme that has them.
From what I have read the Eagles are sticking with Midnight Green and any petition was for some kind of alternate or something that needs permission.
yes and 2 yrs to allow the change for branding across the league. i think they put the paperwork in last year so they can unveil it in 2017. branding and merchandising are the issues. i thought it was a done deal but maybe not.
That is the default. Most of the other ones to me look like oxygen as well but with font size change. I tried some of them but they almost all looke the same. Is it my cache or are they incomplete still? Like Irish looks like Oxygen but the "read/unread" buttons are different.
Maybe Tim's still working on them? He put up a post in the Steelers section that it was ready...... *DONT_KNOW*
I forgot to get to this earlier. They are saying thats what Storen is all peeved about. If your the closer you get the saves. If you pitch the 8th inning, you get what they call "holds" now. A "saves" pitcher gets paid more than a middle reliever or "holds" pitcher. So thats probably what Storen is unhappy about, Lulz. So money can't buy happiness but it can make you unhappy if you don't have any? But it's not like these guys don't have any, both are closers.....
Burnett goes on the DL. They were saying he hasn't pitched real well since the AS Break and didn't pitch in the AS game when there was a couple possibilities he could have. Probably why he started off so slow with his fastball last game. Something to do with his elbow. Good time to call up Glasnow but the Bucs probably won't! A probable situation for Blanton who they just picked up? But as I said, Blanton starting numbers are not good. Blanton middle relief numbers are much better.....
i'm reasonably sure that when a closer signs a contract, his salary is not suddenly adjusted downward if his team later decides to pitch him in the 8th instead. nobody in the 4 major sports here does butthurt like baseball players do it, and to me, it's not even close.
I could tell you a long story but it would take too long. The Nats situation is uncommon. It isn't uncommon for an 8th inning pitcher to prove he's better than the closer though and would eventually get the job. And when theres a trade, teams look at saves more than they do holds, which means more money. Theres more of a premium on the saves stat than the holds stat for any team. I could go on but that is the crux of the situation as to why I think Storen is unhappy......
boo fucking hooo. they are both what they are, teams already know what each can do. unless his contract guaranteed him to be the closer - something i've never heard of before - he needs to STFU and pitch. john lennon has a message for him.
Chapman was paid very well to be the 8th innning set-up man in Cincy. They tried absolutely half the freekin NL out for the job after electing to keep Chapman right where he was. Chapman didnt bat an eye, he did his job and cashed his checks. Storen needs to count his blessings as well as his dollars and like so smartly and well put, STFU !
