    Right now, as of this morning, according to NHL.com, Alexander Ovechkin has the same number of shots on goal as the entire New York Rangers team!

    Well Sol, I think the Rangers have played only 1 game so far while the Caps have played about 3 or 4. And I think Ovechicken has 4 goals also.

    Caps are 1-2 and the rangers are 0-1. Ovi has 6 points, 4 goals, 2 assists. He has been the Offense the past 2 games but doesn't get my star of the week nod.

    Yes, I know that, and it really means nothing, it's just a funny statistical anomaly right now. A player having more shots than a team.
