Kobe dead at 41

It's been confirmed that Kobe Bryant is dead in a copter crash with four others. Very sad. I understand he was going to the HOF this year.

Was he piloting the chopper?

 

Haven't heard just yet. Still releasing details. Wow, I was totally unaware he was a pilot.

 

Not sure if he was, he took choppers often.

 

His 13 year old daughter was also with him and perished.

 

The word is he was carrying Gianna, his 13 yr old daughter to basketball practice with one of her teammates and her father.... no one survived.


The Chopper was Kobe's private helicopter

 

Five people perished in the crash. Kobe and his daughter plus one team mate and her father equal four. I have to assume the 5th was the pilot.

 

I'm hearing 9 dead now.

 

9 killed and sounds like fog was a big factor. Was bad enough that police had grounded all their helicopters.

 

Yeah. I just head 9 nine dead too. If the fog was that bad, I wonder why they chose to fly.
