Here's another 9.5 million that has only pitched 12 innings of ML baseball. For a team that's on a budget, Spedstein has sure whiffed on alot of his "high priced" signings to date. Still waiting for the great starting pitching depth that Theo bragged about having that Hendry couldn't provide.
Meh, I won't bash for this particular signing. I thought it made sense, unlike most of the signings over the past 2-3 years.
Can easily be bashed. I mentioned this on more than one occasion. Matt Lindstrom was likely available for less money at the time, had a ML track record with success in the bullpen, and not to mention a power arm with better stuff.. I guess it was just more exciting for Boy Blunder to open the pretty box to see what was inside instead. Hail the Mighty Germhole !!!
Kyuji Fujikawa could join the Cubs next week after his minor league rehab assignment. He has given up one earned run over five innings in five games at Triple A-Iowa. :-* He is in his second year of a 9.5 million dollar contract and has only pitched twelve fucking pathetic innings at the major league level. Thank you Boy Blunder and thank you great scouting department. Thank you for not reading this fuckheads medicals. Where's Dan Haren ??? That's right. He has been struggling but can pitch better than Jackson could blind, with a broken arm, while a blow torch is being aimed at the end of his dickhead.
In better news, Hendricks pitched pretty damn good against the vaunted Dodgers last night on the road. Albeit a sample size, but he could be doing a lot worse than a 2-1 record, 2.05 ERA, and a 1.06 WHIP in 4 starts versus the Reds, Padres, Cardinals, and Dodgers.
And in bitter news, how did the Twins get lucky enough to get Tommy Milone for Sam Fuld? Are you kidding me? That's pretty cheap for an innings eater with a career 3.84 ERA in the AL if you ask me. I can't believe Fuld was the best hitter offered to Oakland. Unbelievable! :!
