Jaguars @ Steelers game thread

I don’t know how this game will go. This team has to play the first half like they do in the second half’s of games. I’m pretty sure just from my eye test that our defense plays a better second half of the game and our offense heats up in the fourth quarter. That has to change this week. Stop the run and run the ball like a lunatic escaping from the insane asylum.

 

The Steelers will win low scoring close games but they can't win shootouts. They're not built for it.

Gotta hold Jax to 19 or less and be within a score late in the game

 

Especially if you don’t catch wide open passes on the very first play that could have been a TD.

 

Again no first downs by the offense on first 2 drives.

 

These Refs are ridiculous Neal had a great hit on Lawrence and called unnecessary roughness for a safety putting all his weight on him. Just BS!!

 

Fumble recovery by Holcomb! Followed up by an end around for no gain!!

 

Refs impacting the game for the Jags.

Can’t even really blame Canada, players not making plays. Hell of a hit from Kwon, great hustle from Holcomb to get to the fumble. Minkah is out at least for this game. Looking forward, probably misses at least next week with a short week upcoming

 

Well hope Seamalu at least gave Pickett the look-out! on that last one. Pickett getting killed.

 

Pickett late coming back to DJ. That was an easy TD if he was the primary read.

 

I also felt like DJ took that route a little deep too, if he takes a couple steps across the endzone and sits that’s a TD.

 

This run defense is terrible!

 

Would love to see the holding penalty on Pierre, seems like if it’s even close they’re throwing flags on our secondary

 

Steelers lucky to be within 1 score so far. Defense making splash, offense has been more aggressive, but just not making all the plays they need

 

Surprised Cole didn’t get a flag on that extended chat on the Jags sideline

 

Well this sequence has sucked.

Well shit. Either these refs are crap or the Steelers are just making some bonehead mistakes

 

Someone check these refs sportsbooks. They are way too visible in this game.
