Good watching Lamar laughing at the Steelers in the first half and then watching him look like he was ready to cry in the fourth quarter. TG Watt Highsmith JPJ is our best CB Pickett in the second half was great Bad. Watching the first half of this game Ugly. Lamar Jackson is one ugly dude
Based on what I saw from highlights and reading comments on Depot game posts. LaMar is one ugly dude? Trevor Lawrence: "Hold my Beer". Good: A double U. TJ and Highsmith. Jalen Warren. Larry O. Killabrew, Boz, Pickens. Bad: Ugly win man, they were outplayed by Ravens, but Stats don't win games. Will have to look at PFF, but Ravens OT's held a LOT, which maybe offsets the Ravens WR drops. Ugly: Canada and Gunner.
It was all ugly because these two teams play ugly but that's the charm The good: Watt. I can't believe him but every time I watch him, I'm awed at how destructive he is to an offense. George Pickens. Had some catches in tight coverage. He's a physical specimen. Jaylen Warren. He's a max effort guy. What a tough runner. The bad: The offense for the first 2.5 quarters. So predictable that it's painful to see. The D gave up a few 3rd and longs but, for the most part. The tackling was good particularly in the 2nd half. The ugly: Eh. These two teams are never pretty so, whatever. In the end. I hate the fact that we have to sit on the edge of the chair and hope the D can hold the opposing offense to 13 points or less in hopes that the Steelers can eke out a win. I hope it's better when Diontae comes back.
I love how Lamar Jackson is an absolute asshole. Apparently he thinks that he gifted the win to the Steelers. I understand that his receivers dropped a few passes, but you can count on that every time they play us. The turnovers they had were not gifted, they were really great plays by the Steelers defense. The fumbles were perfect hits and the rookie CB may be a rookie but he has played better than any other CB on our team and you over confidently threw it his way and got smoked. The Steelers defense has proven over and over again that they are better than your smug ass and you aren’t in their league. Jackson is 1-3 against the Steelers . And then after we smack your ass down you usually miss the next game with us because you are a wimp.
