FT @ Steelers: Official Game Thread

In week 12, the Steelers defeated the Ravens at Heinz Field. Now the Steelers stay at Heinz Field to host the FT.

For the Steelers to win:
The Steelers need to play a complete game (Offense, Defense, Special Teams for 60 min.).
The Steelers defense needs to pressure Alex Smith.
The Steelers defense needs to shut down the FT running game (emphasis on Antonio Gibson).
Alex Highsmith and Ola Adeniyi need to be the "next man up" in place of Bud Dupree.
The Steelers need to run the ball effectively (Benny Snell Jr. and Jaylen Samuels).
Ben Roethlisberger needs to play well - getting the ball out quickly.
The Steelers need to score TDs when in the red zone (and when not).
Chris Boswell's replacement for this game needs to play well.
The Steelers need to protect the ball. They need to win the turnover battle.
Alejandro Villanueva, Matt Feiler, James "J. C." Hassenauer, David DeCastro, and Chukwuma Okorafor need to play well as a unit.

The FTs D is no joke but their offense struggles to protect the QB. They have got to pressure Smith. They must succeed on 1st down to take Gibson out of the game.

 

This game isn’t on nationally live but the NFL channel is replaying it immediately after the game.

Steelers got a gift placement. Washington clearly had a first down and then went on 4th and missed it.

 

5 snaps inside the 5 and turning the ball over on downs. Quite embarrassing

 

What was the third down call for? Fade to Hawkins?
