So the draft is just under 24 hours away. This is your official notice that inactivity and intentional throwing of games by not having a valid lineup is subject to penalties. This is a free league so the level of punishment will ultimately be at my discretion but there are guidelines. 1. You will be given a warning on your 1st offence. If it was clearly an accident or something weird happened I can allow a 2nd warning but it could be held against you once your warnings are up. 2. On your second offence in a season or when the warnings are used up you will forfeit your 3rd round selection in the next draft and be awarded a 5th rounder at the end of the round instead. If you do not own your pick anymore then the punishment will be adjusted. 3. On your 3rd offence you will forfeit your 1st round selection and be awarded a 2nd rounder at the end of the round instead. 4. On the 4th offence you will be asked to leave the league or offer a compromise. 5. Appeals can be made directly to me on L4SN private messaging. 6. You must have a valid lineup with players expected to play and not given the OUT injury designation or worse with a suitable amount of warning. Usually that would be just before the weekend for a weekend game. 7. At no point is a player still in the league expected to be dropped to make room for a starter. Your starting roster must simply be able to play a player at a starter position if one is available on your roster. You must still own roster minimums at all times. 8. If it is later in the season I may give a league wide warning about tanking and that will count as your warning. If a starting lineup is illegal with tanking being suspected then the starting lineup may be changed at my discretion. That actually happened at the end of last season for the #1 pick with an owner that no longer is with us. 9. Tanking may also include adding obscure players not expected to contribute just to start them over a better player. This is very subjective so it won't be called on unless it's very fishy. 10. If an owner needs to be replaced then any and all penalties may be overturned for the new owner. Their draft position may be bumped down though. If there are any questions or concerns then please ask.

I don't believe any penalties should arise for a new owner. It isn't their fault and there is no way of knowing they would have won anyway. In my opinion, that includes bumping them down. All that does is raises suspicion that the bump down is to help out another team(s) draft position. Reality is, if a team is tanking for #1, he has a bad team anyway and the new owner should be given an advantage to help his team compete sooner than later. My opinion, I won't fight any decision either way, just stating it.
