Tuna, were you in camp today?

Yes, that is all great news. Although the fumbled snaps are concerning, brings back memories when Rex used to do that at least once a game. Hopefully that is something Taylor Boggs can clean up and not Trub's fault.

Boggs isn't the starting center.. So, given the coaches actually called him out for it and not Trubisky, i think we're going to be OK.

Yes I was although I got there late because they apparently changed the fucking time, and the place was packed and I mean like when Shitwad first joined the team. I couldn't find a good vantage point even while standing. I have a little to add the report Mongo posted. I got there just in time to see Trubisky fumble the first two snaps, and thought WTF here we go, but was relieved to find out it was probably on Boggs.
Most of the targets were delivered to the tight ends and unlike last season they were catching them. Titus Davis had probably the longest catch from Trubiskey at least 40 yards in the air, and I did see Adam Shaheen make a one handed grab and showing good body control in the process. I saw my guy Braverman drop and easy ball, and he never drops them. I didn't see White do anything, but I probably missed quite a bit because I was sitting way off to the side on the incline on the next field, and even though I had binoculars you can't really see though the other players standing on the sideline.
I was right by where the QB's practiced hitting the barrels first off Trubisky was listed at 6-3 and he looked an inch shorter than Butt Fumble who is listed at 6-2. Glennon listed at 6-6 looked to tower over everybody and I swear it looked like Trubisky was at least 5 inches shorter. So I checked the combine on Trub and it was 6-2 1/8, but anyway Trubisky was accurate as fuck! I didn't see him miss one fucking barrel. He does throw a nice ball.
Sitton was out with his wife having a baby, Long and Langford were out nursing sore vaginas, and in case you didn't know McPhee is out with a torn vagina.

Some good Trubisky videos here. Check out the dump off to Cohen and what he does after.

    Fox is a douche, evadability?

Only care if the young guys are doing good and it sounds like they are at this point.

Still a long way to go.

Tuna, have the Bears started building a hospital right on the practice field yet? Seems like a good investment at this point.

"...but anyway Trubisky was accurate as fuck! I didn't see him miss one fucking barrel."

This. THIS. THIS is the ONLY thing that truly, truly matters in a QB. THIS is why guys like Drew Brees and Kurt Warner are future and current HOF'ers, respectively. ACCURACY. This one trait that cannot be taught. Without THIS trait, these two HOF'ers are career back ups at best. They are both smart, can read defenses, can audible, are leaders, etc... But without their accuracy, they'd be nothing.

On the flipside, you have Jay Cutler. A guy that has all the tools. Athletic, can scramble, can flick a ball 65 yards. But... yeah.

I hear that Trubisky is also very good throwing on the run and is fast. What gets me most pumped is what tuna is saying, and what I'm reading. He is really, really accurate.

That's something we haven't heard in forever, and I'm jacked about it.

Some good data in this article...

    http://wgnradio.com/2017/07/31/hoge-five-takeaways-from-the-bears-first-five-practices/

    This stood out to me:

"The second safety spot is up for grabs, but rookie Eddie Jackson had an impressive interception Sunday, reading Mitch Trubisky perfectly from at least 25 yards away before jumping Rueben Randle’s route and snatching the ball away. Jackson’s instincts and speed after the catch were evident on that play. Meanwhile, other safeties like Adrian Amos, Deon Bush and Harold Jones-Quartey have not been as noticeable so far."

I was informed that, right now, the Bears have zero intentions of Trubisky starting in 2017. He thought Shaw would have a better chance of seeing the field than Trubisky.

I've heard the same and while I'm a little upset about it....But I also wonder if in the long run it will benefit the kid.

Barring something amazing coming from this Bears team.....John Fox is gonna be shit canned at some point in the not so distant future. I'd bet my left nut on it. So is it better for this kid to play now and come next year or the year after get a new offense with a new HC and OC? Or for him to sit and watch and practice his ass off and then step in when Jim Harbaugh comes to town? I made up the Harbaugh part....it's on my wish list and I really want it to happen. But you get the point.

I want to see him now.....but I'm not completely pissed knowing I probably won't.

What I liked about this drill it showed how quick his feet are because as he went through progressions with the barrels he seemed to just spin and throw rope after rope.

But I also wonder if in the long run it will benefit the kid.

There's a shit ton of evidence that supports throwing a high draft pick to the wolves right away and a shit ton that supports sitting him as a rookie.

It will be hard to watch this season knowing that I won't get to see him play at all, especially if Glennon is lousy and Sanchez/Shaw are cemented higher in the depth chart.

John Fox is gonna be shit canned at some point in the not so distant future. I'd bet my left nut on it.

It would seem obvious. But consider this: is anyone else worried that we start Glennon for 16 games, defense has injuries again, we suck really badly again, but Fox gets a pass because it was a throwaway season anyway? It was clear the front office blamed injuries last year and why wouldn't they do it again plus justifying that the best QB was protected on the bench?

I'm not worried about Fox coming back if the Bears suck. He is a dead man walking in my opinion, team is being built for the next coach. This is a throw away year, let
young players play and bring in a new coach next year.

Harbaugh is the guy, read somewhere that the Bears HC job is his dream job so make it happen. He would love Howard and works wonders with QB's. It's a no-brainer which means it won't happen because the McKaskeys will f$ck it up.

Have a little faith aggie even a broken clock is right twice a day.

That is downright f'n scary and knowing this team and these owners....not out of the realm of possibility. But I agree with Aggie in the longrun......I think Pace is building this team with it's next coach in mind.
