OLine dominated and DLine did the same. Hatcher is the man! Just heard that Spencer may be done for the year....will need another surgery and maybe microfracture surgery. Just hope Selvie keeps toting the line....hes doing a hell of a job. Real interested to see if Ratliff is ready come week 7 or if he will a problem. Is it me or are we not seeing alot of action by sean lee...he seems to not be much of a factor like years past? Loved seeing Wilcox in there....he flys around and is always around the ball....just wish that int wouldve counted for him. Waters and Leary looked good. A good test this weekend at SD if they can go in there and get the win it may be a start to something special this year. NFC east is ours for the taking.....must focus 1 game at a time....run the rock and get it to dez early. And witten quit running those dam 2 yard outs and get your ass down the field!!!! Tired of that sh*T
I'd really like to see two back-to-back strong games, games where we put away a weaker opponent and not have to sweat through a 24-21 nail-biter. Defense looks good so far under Kiffin/Marinelli's Tampa-2 -- we're getting nearly twice as many sacks and turnovers as we did at this same juncture last year. But I also agree we haven't seen that monster game out of Sean Lee...yet. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I think there might [just might] be a possibility we'd be better served flip-flopping Lee and Carter, moving Carter to MLB. In this defense, an MLB with Carter's speed and coverage ability could be devastating. Anyone think it's a coincidence that our best offensive performance came when we ran the football more than we passed it...? THAT'S the kind of balance this team needs. Big props to DeMarco Murray and the offensive line for a great job against the Rams.
For sure a complete game Crazy....we need the run game to keep defense's honest...and I have Demarco on my fantasy team ...liking the addition of Waters on the o-line...Defense is playing lights out....but when all is said and done this is a weak Ram's team and we need to win our home games...We shall see what this team is made of when the Bronco's come to town!
I didn't get to see the whole game Sunday, and haven't replayed to grade Waters. Was his pass blocking better than what we've had? From Demarco Murry's yardage...I will assume the run locking was above average! And after the way the 49ers schooled the Rams. Can't be to impressed with the victory.
True that C.B.,We all know we must win our home games should be a guarenteed 8 wins, the only team we lost to above. 500 was the Chiefs...although a good win we can't judge this team against a weak Ram' s team!
I think we we will feel a lot better about our team after this game. Defensively wise San Diego will be weaker than the Rams but offense a little better. We will put back to back good games together. This gonna prepare us mentally for the Broncos next week. I can already feel a little swag about this team. AxeMurder I think there might [just might] be a possibility we'd be better served flip-flopping Lee and Carter, moving Carter to MLB. In this defense, an MLB with Carter's speed and coverage ability could be devastating I totally agree, I wish they would switch them. I believe it would make us a lot tougher. I love the move to start Wilcox. Teamed Church, they play a lot faster and likes to lay the wood on you. The most surprising thing to me has been the defensive line. Selvie has played great. We would have been straight if we knew what we know now. Anthony Spencer wouldn't have been a Cowboy this year. Imagine if Jay Rat was healthy and Josh Brent hadn't had that Incident.
