Any of you guys try this fantasy crack yet? Last week was my 1st time dipping my toes in the fanduel waters. Thought I was in line to make a small amount of $ until Minny decided play action Bridgewater to the turf was better then running AD more than 10 times.
This is my lineup this week and some of my thought process You probably won't change my mind but I do like differing opinions.

QB Rodgers vs Sea $9300. Legion of Boom is missing it's boom and made Foles look like Ferragamo last week

RB Lynch @ GB $8500. GBs run D no bueno. Plus this is a sunday players only league and I like having a punchers chance going into the late game.

RB Hyde@ Pitt $7000. I was filling out my lineup during the MNF game and it 7K seemed reasonable. Pitts defense is Meh at best this yr.

WR Julio@ NYG $8800. Like I said I was filled this out on Monday. I can't believe I took AJ Green over him in the dynasty league. Note to self, smoke more weed during next years draft.

WR. D Adams vs Sea $6400. See above. I think GB WRs are kinda going to be roulette like this year but when you hit you should hit big.

WR P. Harvin vs NE $5700. I like Harvins play making ability and I'm not sold on my Pats secondary and think it can be exploited especially if plays break down and T Mobil is running around playing street ball.

TE Rudolph vs Lions $5100. One thing I took away from the Vikes Monday was Rudolph looked healthy and a favorite target for Teddy.

K Brown NYG vs Atl $4500. Everyone needs a Kicker. Brown is a mid level value play that I think will get some chances vs the Falcons. Especially if Eli continues to implement his no running into the end zone game plan.

Defense Carolina vs Houston $4700 Two words, Ryan Mallett

Yeah I've learned from past transgressions to be moderate(usually) in my gambling habits these days. Still love action of almost any sort though.

I only deposited $85 and they match it giving me enough to play one $10 a week game. Although I don't like they way the matched it. Kind of deceiving, they keep it pending and let out a little bit a time as you play. What kind of shit is that? Maybe when I lose this I'll try Draftkings. Or if I hit 40K with this team maybe some of those moderate habits will become enhanced.

Don't know how it works. Don't know if I want to lol.

  6. Been trying my hand at Draftkings.com. It's fun. It's addicting if you have a gambling addiction (I don't). It's really FF but focusing on the drafting aspect of the game. You get a salary cap and pick the best team within that budget. It's set up so that about 20% of thcontests entrant will win. Minimum prize is usually double you entry fee - not too bad.

But these sites are really designed to take your money. Can't speak for Fanduel, but I have some issues with Draftkings:

First, I put in $100 thinking I'd get the matching amount using the promo code, but that's a scam. They and Fanduel have the same type of promo and its designed to give you small increments of that bonus depending on if you win and how many contests you join. To get my full $100 matching bonus I'd have to spend about $600 on football contests. It's a bit less if you join the other sports contests. So STRIKE 1.

Week 1, I joined 3 contests. I spent about $20 I won $36. I got an email from the Second, sight saying how much I won and tocollect my earnings. It gave an option of sending a check or funds through Paypal. I chose a check which their policy say they'll send within two weeks. I still haven't seen it. I won another $30 last week and I let it ride in my account until I figure out wtf to do about it. I don't like going through Paypal who will likely take a percentage. STRIKE 2.

Third, I complained about the above issue 3 times. I keep getting emails saying the problem is being addressed and to view it by logging into the site. It won;t take my login info. It also looks like an offisite customer service interface as it says Draftkings.com Zen.desk on the login pop-up. So I try:
    1) To reset my password. After going through all the steps and submitting I never got an email confirming that.
    2) To create a new login ID for this interface. That doesn't work.
    3) I send another complaint asking then to respond directly to me because I can't view their "resolutions". I get the standard reply to login in.

There is no customer service phone # anywhere on the web that I can find either to explain this to a live person. STRIKE 3.

I was thinking of trying Fanduel since DK "struck out" with me. But I'm told that it's not much better. Anyone else have complaints on them?

I don't think fanduel is much better. I''ve only been playing 1 $10 game a week( till this week, I have a $5 and a $ 10 going) and haven't hit anything. But I was automatically turned off by their bonus release bs and thinking of trying draftKings when/if I ran out of this original $85. Glad you've said something about DKs but I may still try it in a couple weeks just to see which one I hate less. I love the weekly play and the gaming side of it, but I definitely think these companies could use a little competition, unfortunately I don't know how much longer they'll be around. The Govt doesn't like this kind of thing without a larger cut then they're already getting and this is definitely a form of gambling imo.

I like to gamble, but I don't like GIVING my money away. You're better off handing it over to some bum on the street. Both of these organizations are scams, and I will avoid at all costs... especially after that "insider" news story broke.

I may be mistaken but I think Yahoo runs pretty much the same thing. You can't go on the site without a popup telling you to join.

DK ads all over the NFL.com site too.
