Saw it over on the other place that CBS posters went.

I don't see the ESPN message boards mentioned much on Mud-N-Cleats.

Do any of the posters here frequent the ESPN boards?

  4. when i first started shopping for a new site (when cBS's nonsense became impossible to ignore any longer), i looked at the Extra Stupid Poker Network's message boards. can't remember exactly why now, but i was underwhelmed to the point of thinking that in spite of all their issues, the boards at cBS were still WAY better. the only time i even looked at them after that was to simply confirm that CENATION-HLR was clueless, during one of his rants on the feedback board :D

I had an account there, but I never posted there until today.

Basically I said this site was good for talking actual sports, but if you want to troll and fling poo, go somewhere else 'cause you won't last long here. I figured maybe get 1 or 2 people who actually like sports.

Any site that requests payment to read full articles by Mel Kiper Jr. is a joke. :-X

ESPN is such a steaming pile of themselves. Here is their most egregious offense: THE ESPY AWARDS An award voted on by ESPN, written by ESPN. hosted by ESPN, and naturally promoted and televised by ESPN on an ESPN network.

Actually I should say I had 2 accounts there, 1 I created in 2010 never used and which dissappeared on me, and 1 I created when see BS went away, that I first posted on today.

    Never liked it over there.

  9. Yeah, the one or two posters whom we showed the error of their ways for thinking that QBR was the mother of all metrics. Haven't seen them since.

I can't stand when I am reading a Bleacher Report article and an ESPN one shows up. I wont read anything on that site. Only watch football on their network.

  11. I went there once and it seemed like I had to pay for anything and everything. Never went back. I don't watch the chanel unless a game is on. In all honesty I can do without that Chanel.

You know, the ESPN boards might suck, but at least they are giving their members a chance to shop and choose their landing space instead of CUTTING IT OFF WITH NO NOTICE.

Man, Fuck CBS. We are still missing good members from there.

  13. Their message board sucked anyway. No big loss.

ESPN succumbing to the almighty pressure of Facebook and their hordes of mindless sheep that post their entire lives over the internet then wonder why people come rob them blind after they leave on vacation (yeah posting about their time away from home) or having the law and govt watching their every move on said site as well.

    Scary things these days people.

Needless to say, espn won't be seeing any more posts from me. Facebook needs to die a painful death.

  15. Ah Ha! Proof you hold multipple accounts! *ROFL* *YAHOO*

  16. Yeah, put a couple posts on ESPN plugging MNC. Hopefully, we can get some fans to round out the other fanbases here - Bengals, Broncos, Colts, Chiefs, Giants, Chargers, etc.

    They were consecutive, not simultaneous.

There was even almost a year between them.

  18. C'mon, Solly. Where's that grand sense of humor you say you have? Oh, wait. My joke didn't have any numbers in it Let me put it in terms you can understand:

Better now? The part about Roethlisberger is priceless, isn't it?

I thought you were serious, and yes I love how you proved Ben is TWICE as good as Flacco.

Boolean Algebra always gets the right answer. Way to work out that equation Sol.
