I voted Woodson in Ravens uniform. I’m hoping against hope bc of Harrison’s age that this move won’t come back to bite us, but i doubt it.
AJM - I mostly just wear my steelers sweatshirt with my own last name on back these days .... hey remember when mcquiddyputty guy : patriots fan (can’t recall his real name from boards but he’s been around some this year too) was joking with me about my steelers hoodie and whatever other gear I was talking about last year haha lol If Steelers win it all I will have to get some other piece of Steelers gear - something tomlin related again maybe .... no probably Big Ben actually .... beloved Ben is my favorite steeler when it’s all said and done.
I'm not worried about Harrison should we play the Patriots again. At this point, there's no way the Patriots can get more knowledgeable about our beloved team. And, P.S. and all, Jadeveon Clowney is better than Harrison at present and Villanueva handled Clowney no problem.
I chose harrison and it has little to do with what he can or cant do. Its having to look at himin that damn uniform. The ravens i at least respect and woodson didnt go straight to them when he left the steelers. I jusr dont think i will ever be able to look at harrison the same after he dons a pats uni.
The Harrison move stings a bit, especially since my Towel is signed by #92 (back when JHH had to visit Roger at HQ). That g4wd4wful Boston poop stain/smell will NEVER come out.
I thought I remember reading after that game something about an injury to his left shoulder/arm limiting his effectiveness from rushing the passer from ROLB and being used on the left side and up the middle more. Please advise.
Wouldn't it be nice if this were actually the ultimate backfire on the Cheatriots? The Steelers had a deal with Harrison, knowing the Cheatriots would sign him. Misinformation and more of a double agent for the Steelers. Then after the Steelers beat N.E. in the AFC Championship game Harrison tells the Patriots he hates them and all of their fans, they cut him and the Steelers resign him for the Super Bowl. lmao He retires on the platform holding the Lombardi and says to the cameras, "You finally got what's been coming to you for a long time, Robert Kraft!". Would make for a great ending.
As the final seconds tick away on the Steelers' blowout win over the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, James Harrison walks over to the Steelers sideline, stands facing the Patriots, and rips his jersey to reveal a black and gold 92 underneath. He flips New England the collective bird and rides into the sunset on his majestic white stallion to Minnesota. The rest of the team takes a plane.
Zone coverage got the Steelers destroyed by the Patriots last season in the ACFCG not James Harrison playing ROLB.
Not having Bell available and zone defense seems to be the strongest reminders of the last AFCCG. That first TD to Hogan was revolting. Brady had all day to throw AND the receiver was wide open. Harrison dropped back into coverage on that play and took away the underneath stuff on his side. Brady, under no pressure just waited for what seemed like forever, then threw a rope to Hogan near the back of the end zone. 10-0 New England.
beach: Refresh my memory... Who started at ROLB last year when the Patriots crushed us? Mingo ? What a dumb ass ... i thought you meant who played OLB for Pats ... duh dumbass duh
