Ok starting tonight and going through Saturday there will be over 1,100 players added to the free agent market in the NFL. It's the first time they are cutting directly from 90 down to 53 man rosters.

Names similar to Joe Haden will be available. Let's use this thread to make aware players that should actually be considered as players that could

Reminder: by virtue of their 1-15 record in 2016, the Browns still have first waiver priority, so they get prime pickings.

I'll try to dig through some articles for other teams' potential cuts or roster bubbles, but keep an eye on very talented rosters who need to cut good players for depth at other spots. Teams like Atlanta, Dallas, and Oakland would be at the top of my list for waiver pick-ups.

Would Justin Hunter be of interest? The Steelers will definitely cut at least one "varsity" WR.

Maybe, but it sounds like they're trying to get a trade done.

I'm not sure that Jermaine Kearse is what I am looking for to make a big improvement...There may be better receivers cut.

I think the plan is to watch for receiver cuts and then, if nothing solid is there, trade for a guy like Kearse.

Another very damning indictment of not only the 2016 rookie class, but also the Kenny Britt signing.

Does anyone else think Jordan Leslie and Ranell Hall might be our best wide receivers?

    Unfortunately, yes...

And actually, I have seen sure hands from Richard Mulaney as well, but I don't think he could do it against starter quality defenders.
