Craziest Cheating Stories from Leagues you have been in

Title says it all what are some of the crazier things you have seen other owners do ti cheat in a league. Usually its the commissioner doing the cheating or it can be two owners teaming up but what are some wild stories you have that most would consider cheating.

 

In one league i am in this year which is a keeper league the new commish change the starting line ups right before the draft to having a flex position that can be QB/RB/WR/TE. Why is that cheating you may ask. Well last year he somehow lucked into having Mahomes and Watson as his QBs. No big deal because you can only start one right. Well in the last 2 weeks of the playoffs he chose wrong in both games as to which one to start thus loosing and not winning it all. Now being able to start those 2 is definitely going to be a distinct advantage each week.

 

Of course an even crazier year was one time on Yahoo were the Comish took it upon himself to drop players off of teams and put them on his team. As amazing stacked as his team was I and another player managed to still beat him. In response to that he locked both of our teams so that we could no longer make any changes to our line ups. Once we changed our names to belittle his cheating he also locked name changes for the entire league. The funniest part of both of these stories is they were free leagues so no money involved just bragging rights and these guys saw it fir to need to cheat lol.

 

Had a league where two owners incorporated a fake account that they used to source trades through to either ‘borrow’ talent or trade for draft picks.

They were real smooth about it until year 3 when they fucked up a simple email that got another owners attention.

What’s even stranger is that league is still running and they actually sourced another fake account into it after a couple of owners bailed.

 

Had another league where three guys got together to work a series of trades that loaded up one roster. It hit for the title and a couple years later we found out after one of the owners bitched about getting ripped off and not getting his cut of the winnings.

 

You gotta love the people who cheat in a free' league... that really kills me. Seen that at CBS a bunch of times, lol. Everybody bitching and moaning and making threats and not 1 penny involved.

 

I was in a 16-team league and won it all. The next year he upped it to 20 teams and my brother joined. We made a mid-season trade with each other and shortly after people were bitching he was just giving me talent. The season ended with me beating my brother in the finals so they could suck a fat one. Next year it was either 20 or 24 people with a specific playoff system in place. Initially the wrong team was in the playoffs and I told the commish that the wrong guy was in and that the seeding order was wrong. He fixed the team but not the seeding order. I had a bye and he played me in the 2nd round and beat me and then won the championship. The thing is that I would have beaten who I should have faced and then had the highest score in the league each week after. He claimed glory and I just said, ya I'm 3x champ following the real rules and quit his league.

To clarify he was the best team without a bye and I think I had the best record. He should have been in the opposite side of the bracket. You gotta beat everyone but I earned the opponent I was supposed to play. This guy wanted to take me out because I had bad matchups that week while he had good ones.

 

My brother always does leagues with this one guy that's the worst and I keep telling him to never do a league with him. I THINK he finally didn't this year but here is what he does:

- Move the schedule up for the draft from some future date to immediately.
- Despite being a slow draft if you don't respond in like 5 minutes, even if you say you are there or are busy, even if he shotgunned the draft on you, he will pick a player for you.
- After the draft starts he will change the roster make-up
- After the draft starts he will change it to a keeper when he has all the young talent and you have vets.
- He will then change it to dynasty
- If you complain he and his buddies will shame you
- If you quit his league or refuse to join his league he will quit your other leagues or sabotage them so you will join his.

There is more but I have literally beaten him before for bitching about him when we continuously tell him to shut up and not to join in the first place. He's like the victim in an abusive relationship, always going back.

 

Some of these stories man, it blows my mind you guys last even a year with these dip shits. I do a pretty good job of never joining leagues with guys I’m not too sure about
