Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers Game Thread Week 1

I hope that this is a really good game. Are the Bears still favoured?
There's lots to prove and lots of ground to make up.

Beer is cold, whiskey is within reach. I got chili going on the stove and plenty of snacks.

I am in midseason form in Week 1.

The matchup today might actually favor the Bears. And they are at home.

On offense run the ball. Get Herbert on the edges and use playaction and RPO effectively. Pick your shots for the big plays but don’t press anything that isn’t there. Above all….protect the football.

The defense needs to sell out and stop the run. Make Love have to beat you. And it sure would be nice to see a couple pick offs.

Let’s do this. The bad man is gone and we can beat this team. Take ownership of this rivalry back god damn it.

I was at the Big House in Ann Arbor yesterday and am ready to go for an NFL Sunday. Redzone is on so at least I can be distracted for the next 3 hours.

 

Rashawn Gary is gonna test Braxton and the rookie. With the interior looking awfully shitty these two have the chance to make the OL look like it isn’t the worst in the league for a change. But then again, it’s no longer preseason. Braxton is going to get bulled.

Make Love throw the ball to beat you. Take the ball away when the pass rush inevitably gets blocked.

Tyrique Stevenson better limit his shithead plays and penalties.

You got the WR1 now. If Fields could rely on him more than he needs to with his legs, that’d be nice.

I want to see Roschon get some early carries.

 

Apropos of nothing important, I'm actually going to be able to watch the game. I think this is the 1st time I'll ever watch the Bears play their inaugural game against GB.
