I imagine most of us remember him. He was a 1st rounder in 94. While he didn't pan out he did have some good catches.

Dead at only 50. Sad to hear

    Kordell Stewert was his QB.

Wouldn’t say he didn’t pan out, Steelers were very run heavy and he made plenty of plays. One of my favorites from the 90s teams. Steelers quietly had a damn good receiving room, with Johnson, Thigpen, Mills and Hastings. Add in Slash and I believe Eric Green was still there at TE in 94 and 95. Could be wrong about that one. Pretty good run game with Pegram, Bam and Foster. CJ was able to stand out amongst all of them, hard nosed receiver who went over the middle, went deep and found a way to get open. RIP

Green left before 95 but having you bring up his name sparked some memories. He had so much talent. Not always the most motivated when it came to conditioning but wow, he was a beast.
