Bryant self destructing?

In addition to more reports that Bryant wants a trade he has now apparently missed a mandatory team meeting calling in sick.

Couple this with some stuff he said via social media

And you have to wonder if he is stepping off the deep end. 1) Your team kept you on roster and didnt kick you to the curb that is support right there. 2) Because you got yourself suspended the way you did they were not allowed to be more supportive 3) If you fight your way back from a hole you created do you really get to pat yourself on the back?

Man........if through evolution or genetic engineering we could combine Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant to form a "super-receiver" and clone that a few times............we'd be unstoppable.

We might even average 30+ points a game each week!!

Only if we engineer a Rogers and Ben clone.

What's really funny is JuJu had his bike stolen and had to walk to practice, and the memes coming out to spite Bryant after he commented on Social Media about JuJu are friggin' hilarious!

Sounds like Bryant won't be active against the Lions this week.

I'm looking for input here... I have Bryant on my fantasy team. I am looking for valuable opinions on whether or not you think he will be of any value this year?

Unfortunately he's a 3rd at best. 4th if you put Bell in there. If he scores a long TD then that's great but why roll the dice on a starting slot.

I don't have him starting, but he's holding a spot on my bench. I just don't want it biting me in my ass if I cut him. He has so much potential.

    Unfortunately he's not available

Depends on what's available in your league but at this point, I'd let someone else gamble

Lost my patience with Bryant and I dropped him about an hour ago.

Bryant playing again this season for the Steelers may depend on what the offense looks like without him. Let's say the offense looks fluent, scores TDs, gets the 30 something points, etc against the Lions I would bet he's benched again the following week. And as long as that continues I can see him being benched a lot after that. But then u have the possible trade factor, who knows. Tough call

You can't even judge the offense with or without Bryant because Ben's play has been improving and still has a ways to go. If Ben was to start playing really well you might think Bryant was a problem when it really was Ben.

Bryant will be a central part of the game plan following the bye. His public reaction sucks, but throw the man a fade at least once in the red zone. And legalize it!

he is second in yards and 3rd in targets if he thinks he is moving ahead of Brown or Bell in the pecking category he is already smoking weed again.

Not that the Steelers would do it, but imagine what N.E. would do to get Bryant... Their defense sucks, but with Bryant nobody could stop them. JMHO

I just heard some great audio from the Steelers locker room yesterday after practice. The team (Deebo and Williams for sure) was having a great time clowning Bryant while the media was trying to interview him. At least it gives NBC something to talk about before Sunday night's game.
