Good question. He was a Pro Bowler the last season he played (2001). Hopefully he still has some of that left.

6 Time Pro-Bowler and was in 2011 when he last played! #4 rated Guard in the NFL and #1 in pass protection! Sat out last year to deal with a family issue and didn't need the money! He came in on September 3rd 2011 for New England with ZERO TRAINING CAMP and started 16 games and 3 more playoff games to the Super Bowl! He's better this year than any guard we have by a big margin, you can believe that! If not, he wouldn't be here! This OL can be Very VERY GOOD by mid season! And the DE Rayford we got from the Colts can be better than Spencer IMO! Everyone that's seen him play is dumbfounded they traded him! Even though he didn't fit the 3-4 there!

Listed 6-3 320lbs yesterday was listed 6-3 318lbs while playing in New England 2yrs ago. Seems like he has stayed in some type of shape

  11. this dude is solid! I dont care if hes 50 and keeps a walker in his car.....hes the best guard we've had in years! Plus what a way for those younger players to learn how to play the game then from the best. I hope he plays a few years here!
