Brewers @ Pirates series 6/18-6/20

After a great 1-0 victory last night, Taillon got off to a rough start giving up a 2 run HR in the first. Brewers were able to tack on another one to make it 3-0. Taillon made it 5 innings, before giving way to Tyler Glasnow. Glasnow, Santana, and Crick worked a scoreless 4 innings. Last night's hero Mercer drove in a run in the 7th, and Marte homered in the 8th. On to the bottom of the 9th, 3-2 Brewers.

 

And Cervelli strikes out to start the 9th. Bell coming up.

 

Bell flies out to left. Polanco is the last out...had a nice hit on a 10 pitch ab in the 7th.

 

BB for Polanco, Mercer coming up with 2 down in the 9th.

 

Mercer strikes out to end the game. Brewers win 3-2 to tie the series at 1-1.
