Mike Wallace, Mike Williams or Jared Cook in a 1/2 PPR league

I will take Wallace here. IND did OK against the pass but it was OAK in W1. Wallace will be a factor in this offense starting this week. ATL will pay attention to Cook after what he did last week. They will force the likes of Richardson and Austin to beat them. Williams had 2 mediocre games vs NO last year so Wallace is the guy. The IND secondary is decent but Wallace can beat them deep.

  4. I'm not touching Wallace with a ten foot pole until I see him do anything... I don't mind missing his first big game, but I mind playing him for a month doing nothing until I see it.

I'd lean towards Cook... I think both ATL and NO are going to go up, and TB and STL will be forced to throw to catch up, and after week 1, I have more faith in STL's offense than TB's. And I think NO's D is better already with Rob Ryan.

I lost the first game in our Bears league because of this. I've got Miles Austin in for him on week 2 - like 3rdGen, I'd rather miss out on a big game. Jared Cook is probably the better option between him and Mike Williams.

Jared Cook. He seems to be the go-to guy for Bradford. Plus he is a Jimmy Graham-type matchup nightmare for defenses. Really makes you wonder how he was so misused in Tennessee.

I took Wallace out and started Cook. That means Wallace will have a big day.

  8. smcndfan Franchise Player Steelers

Wallace 46 yards and a TD on the first drive

Never listen to those so called experts that have a fantasy football show on TV. Just go with the guys you want.

    Jason -

    Nice call on Wallace.

Yeah, fuck what I have to say. Wallace tore it up. Couldn't tell you what I was thinking - guess I was just scared at week one and Miami's general ineptitude. Jason gets credit.

  12. I stand by what I said. Yeah, I was wrong and hindsight is always 20/20, but I said then and I'll stick with it, I don't mind missing his first big game. He could just as easily of stunk it up for another month straight.

After this, of course I feel a lot better about plugging him in.

Cook got me 1.5 points. Wallace would have given me 25 points. I hope I lose this week by more than 23.5.

So yeah...Ooops. I guessed I dropped the ball on that one.

All the "experts" on the fantasy football shows didn't have Wallace as a top 25 receiver so I took him out. It just proves that those guys know about the same as the average FF fan.

I'm sitting Steven Ridley this week so he should have 100+ yards and a TD.

A couple questions for week 4

Mike Wallace vs NO or Hakeem Nicks vsKC in a standard league

Eddie Royal vs DAL or Brian Hartline vs NO in a PPR league

Couple of good ones for today smcndfan.

For the Wallace vs Nicks you are looking at boom or bust in Wallace and the poor play of the Giants offense as a whole in Nicks. KC should put the heels to NY but I'm not sure that MIA will fair any better against NO.

That leads right to your next question and Hartline in particular.

I would go with Wallace on the first one with the possibility of a big play or two with a score involved.

I would go with Royal in the second one. Dallas' run D has been very good so Ryan Mathews will have a hard time accomplishing anything making Rivers turn to the same type of plays that have made Eddie a decent fantasy option this season.

Hartline might have 2 or 3 more receptions, but Royal will have the yardage and possibly a score.

Here is my toughest question for the day. In a Standard league I can start 1 RB and 3 WR or 2RB and 2 WR. Who do I start?

    CJ Spiller vs BAL
    S Ridley vs ATL
    J Snelling vs NE

    V Cruz vs KC
    J Edelman vs ATL
    S Holmes vs TEN
R White vs NE- not starting

Man, not a lot to like there...

Are you sure White is not starting? The last update has him playing today.

I'd go Spiller, Edelman, Holmes and probably Cruz. I don't like the match-up for Victor but Roddy has been a no-show this season.

The RBs this week do not look very strong for you, trying to pick which one is a worthy start is a tough choice.

White is playing but I already decided not to start him.

I have A Bradshaw but the trade and injury killed his value. I'm ready to sit Spiller and Ridley every week until they do something.
