Jason Witten said the Cowboys are trying to work on a few things that will help get him -- and Dez Bryant -- the ball a bit more often. Witten's reception total is WAY down compared to last year after 10 games (47 this year compared to 73 after 10 games last year); to be fair, though, his average per reception is up, as is his TD total. Dez isn't as far off as it somehow feels: he has 52-749-8 through 10 games this year; last year it was 57-735-2 through 10 games. Even if you compare Dez' 10-game totals this year to the last 10 games of 2012 (when he "exploded" for 56-1004-10), he only trails significantly in yardage. But still: why should Dallas be having more difficulty in getting the ball to Dez (and Witten)? Our offensive line isn't any worse, and DeMarco Murray has missed less time (which should, theoretically, open up lanes for the passing game).
