Or are we just on to Miami? We've seen this song and dance in September before. However, every time it does. Tommy is just a bit older, Belichick seems to be just a step further out of touch with the next generation of players. Has the offseason BS spilled over into the real season? Have Tommy and Billy lost their magic? Is there just to little talent on the outside for Brady? Is this defense just a sieve lacking any true playmakers causing it to be a complete liability? or? Is this business as usual, getting their ducks in order early in the year? Tommy and Billy are just fine? Gordon and Edelman will save the offense? Defense will end the year in the typical bend but don't break style good enough to get them into the final four where anything can happen?
Talent is definitely not what it used to be but by the time the season is over Belichick has figured out how to get the most of it into a reliable gameplan. This time the Lions, in a major way thanks to Patricia, had a great game plan and shut down and exploited key players.
same as it ever was. D will take a few more weeks......same as it ever was. agree that this certainly isnt the best of the bunch but this team could still take the whole thing.
